I go here often and the chicken today was beyond gross! It’s was like slimy on the inside texture and the rolls didn’t taste right. I’ve never made a bad review before but after this experience I wanted to make aware that the staff today are not cooking chicken properly. I’m the AGM of subway and I can say I’d be very embarrassed to hand out meat with this quality!
This place is just awful under the new management. It's a viscous cycle. You order take out, get the order home only to find out they messed it up somehow. Tonight I stopped after work and ordered two three piece fish and chips. After being burnt before I verified the order only to find out there was only one meal. This after waiting and waiting while listening to the cook berate customers thru the window. The manager or owner has zero people skills and often just sits there glaring at the customers. The sad thing about this is, if you do manage to get what you ordered, the food is pretty damn good.
Verify your order but be ready to wait longer while they fix their mistakes.

My wife always visits Dixie Lee when we visit NB, her absolute favorite has always been the coleslaw. However, recipe has apparently been changed (I understand it's under new ownership?) and the coleslaw isn't great anymore. Everything else seemed pretty similar as previous.

The store is SOOOOO clean!! I didn't think I've seen such a clean looking restaurant. Dinning room is clean, not dusty, tables freshly wiped. Looking into the kitchen from the counter the kitchen looks spotless as well; I couldnt find dust and I tried!! Lol. The food was ABSOLUTE AMAZING ? and I got the fish which was perfectly cooked, just crispy enough, and full if fish not air! I cannot express how much I recommend this location. I would travel the 2.5 hours again in a heart beat to come here.

Best chicken in town. Fries are great and chicken is consistently great. Best coleslaw ever. Bucket comes with 12pc chicken, fries, and 4 dinner rolls all buttered. If fish is your thing then you’re in luck too. The pieces are a bit on the smaller side but the batter is on par and it tastes pretty good. The place is clean and has a nostalgic vibe to it, very welcoming.
Chicken was good, julienne instead of crinkle cut fries is unacceptable for a Dixie Lee. No gravy in a 2 piece dinner also unacceptable. Be a Dixie Lee or change the name.
