My wife always visits Dixie Lee when we visit NB, her absolute favorite has always been the coleslaw. However, recipe has apparently been changed (I understand it's under new ownership?) and the coleslaw isn't great anymore. Everything else seemed pretty similar as previous.
The store is SOOOOO clean!! I didn't think I've seen such a clean looking restaurant. Dinning room is clean, not dusty, tables freshly wiped. Looking into the kitchen from the counter the kitchen looks spotless as well; I couldnt find dust and I tried!! Lol. The food was ABSOLUTE AMAZING ? and I got the fish which was perfectly cooked, just crispy enough, and full if fish not air! I cannot express how much I recommend this location. I would travel the 2.5 hours again...
