After a 7hr bike trip to get here from the back roads of Spednic lake we were HUNGRY!
My wife had the eggs benedict with grilled hash browns'n'onions. It was standard and acceptable. She commented on the richness of the hollandaise sauce which she enjoyed.
I had the seafood platter with side salad. They batter the fish themselves so I presumed the clams, scallops, and shrimp would be the same. But they are cooked from frozen and not very memorable, especially the clams! The fish was decent but the batter is thicker than I personally enjoy. Saying the salad was the best part of my plate isn't intended to degrade the meal, I just love salads!
Our server was very friendly and made it right in the end by discounting my over done clams. My wife and I agreed that we were full and satisfied. This isn't necessarily a negative review just an honest one. We'll probably try other restaurants and pubs that Woodstock has to offer next trip because that's what we do 😉
I had a thought on the trip back, a way of looking at places you eat. Some places you go for the experience and some places you just go to eat. Murray's gave us good portions of hot food with great service. A place you come to eat.

A great experience! We went for breakfast and they offer plenty of seating including large booths that can accommodate larger groups (6 people). We ordered a variety of breakfast options and all were great. The prices were also very reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and checked in often with coffee refills. We will definitely be back when we come back into town.
