My favorite Chinese food in Woodstock, better than other places also, in my opinion. #6 is my go to meal here.

Absolutely appalling. Actually the worst āChinese foodā I have experienced in the world. Paid over $20 dollars for a combo meal and the. Chicken balls were a tiny amount of mush excessively coated in batter.
The so called Almond Soo Guy was a piece of paper thin chicken coated in batter thick enough to make it appear to be a nice chunk of chicken. There was no crushed almond or any kind of flavour, sauce nothing.
Absolutely waste of money one can spend on Chinese food.

Very disappointed with this place! I called in my order I asked for chicken chow main as whatās in the first picture? When I got home with my 16$ order I open the box and find whatever this is? Wet bland cabbage!!! I called them back and they told me thatās what I ordered they were very rude about it!! I work at a place where we recommend restaurants daily I know for sure I will be telling my staff to never recommend here again!!!

Menu includes several nice looking options that are no longer available. Misleading if youāre looking online for choices. Ordered schezwan chicken & broccoli beef. There was 98% vegetables and maybe 1 oz of meat with a spoonful of sauce in each dish. At almost $20 a dish, one would expect far more protein. Very disappointing!
Atmosphere was tacky, with faux flowers in every colour imaginable along their planter. Bathroom needs to be refurbished. Toilet paper was so thin it was transparent. Wonāt be returning.

It was too cold to enjoy meal. Had Almond Sou Guy, only a teaspoon of almonds & not enough chicken.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The restaurant closes at 8, we arrived at 6:30 and kept getting pressured and then eventually forced to order after 5 minutes of being there. The rice tasted like burnt ash with way too much salt. Everything was cold and dry. The waitresses were constantly complaining non stop the entire time. We Felt rushed, and she kept asking us if we were done and kept saying they were "shutting it down" even though the place was supposed to be open for another hour. Ridiculously priced too.

Seeing as I once worked at this place ( mind you, it was 15ish years ago), I definitely expected better. Decided I would stop in and grab takeout so I wouldn't have to cook when I got home, and it had been a few years since I last had Thanh Van's. The menu had changed, and I didn't notice. So my dinner for two was without chicken balls. My fault for presuming it was the same menu all this time. However, the lettuce in the soup was brown and tasted bad. There was more lettuce than anything else other than broth. 3 small wongtons, no meat. The ribs were 80% fat and very bland with little taste. This chicken fried rice was more rice with not even enough chicken to make a nugget. Needless to say, for the price versus what I got, this will be my last time eating there again.

Worst Chinese food ever. Two tiny pieces of chicken in the rice and a ribs were so fatty I was hard pressed to find meat on them. Will never order from there again.

A Vietnamese restaurant where the cook won't make the Vietnamese combos? Not impressed by the food we did order.
