Today is my husband and I’s wedding day. He made a reservation for 2 at Mason’s Restaurant and Grocery and what an experience. First, we are introduced to a table with napkin cut-out hearts for the table, including a marsh hen mill wood wick made candle for the two of us to enjoy and candlelight dinner (they let us take it home) Second, we are introduced to our waitress and she was amazing. Allowed us to have our first drinks on the house and amazing quality and quickness...
Great place !! Reminded me so much of my younger years!! Great Southern food !! Inspirational and such a great help for me to come here!! Enjoyed staff, they were all such nice people !!

Benedict with the fried green tomato, add a biscuit… French toast with berries… and while I laugh, I’ll share- in case it matters to someone else- that the omelette disappointed my husband who likes the ingredients incorporated into wet egg, not piled into the cooked egg… “like a egg taco”
