San Felipe Mexican Restaurant

This place is absolutely fantastic! They bring a cart over to your table and make fresh guacamole in front of you, the food is great and the service is the best around!

San Filipe accommodated our very large group (20+people) with in an hour notice. The food was excellent, service was fast and attentive!!

Our family has been to this restaurant many times now and I’m never disappointed. Their chips and salsa are yummy. The chicken empanadas are amazing and the verde salsa that they come with is also great. The cheese dips with various meat choices have all been good as well. So far we haven’t had a bad meal. I also feed like the servers do a great job at keeping cups filled, answering questions and bringing food quickly. We always leave full and happy!

Kid-friendliness: Multiple kid items for Mexican and American foods. Haha I still have one kid that will always order nuggets.

Came at 5pm dinner time, was sat at back of bar sitting area in a booth. Our service was horrible. The waitress kept forgetting everything and it was annoying to keep reminding her. She was not interested in working and I could tell she was more interested in the table of police officers instead. Rude.

Been eaten at this restaurant for years I worked in Southern pines. We were celebrating my buddies y's birthday. We had about four shots. Ordered some food and the ladies had margaritas. When we got our bill it was over $300. They overcharged us swore we had eight shots a piece. We refuse to pay the high bill because it was not correct. You have the shot glasses on the table so how could we have eight shots? The police was called by a Karen in the dining area. She had nothing to do with the situation. They refuse to fix our bill. They didn't even go back and look at the camera and we were forced to pay that bill. I spoke with a waitress who was not working that day. Will never visit the place again !!!

Very flavorful. Im from PA and its one of the most authentic tastes for a mexican restaurant. Amazing guac, salsa and chorizo! I would 100% return. Everyone was very kind and attentive.
