I make a special stop by here in the mornings just for their chai. It is the best around. The crepes are great too.

Food was amazing but service was not that great. Asked for sliced strawberries on my French toast and ended up having to pay the cost of bowl of fruit. The sign said my bacon came with my French toast but they charged me extra anyways. I questioned it and the sign but I still had to pay. Never brought our water. Ordered a pitcher of pineapple mimosas but they only had 1 glass of juice left and didn't mention it until after. Someone at our table ordered sausage egg and cheese croissant and they put it on a biscuit instead. Not sure what was going on.

Go-to coffee place downtown. Great staff and great food/drinks. My goal is to continue coming here until I hit old age like the great coffee buddies table.

Spacious coffeeshop, breakfast and lunch. Comfortable local downtown vibe.

Went for the first time with Family at noon. Not too busy, huge space, good noise level, clean.

They highlight local artists and crafts which we thought was really cool.

The coffee was so good couple of different flavors and medium was —- .80 cents a cup! Whaat!?

Muffins, some desserts which looked great.

Loved my chicken pesto panini on sour dough - tender chicken, great flavor pesto. A win! They gave a little cookie that was a light strawberry flavor.

Avocado toast on sourdough (so healthy for you).

Great Cheezy Biddie Sammich on sourdough! Another great sandwich.

Nutella dessert crepe - there was nothing left of it.

Liked that they put cut strawberry and a little piece of cantaloupe on the side.

Fluffy pancake and a side of sausage patty, MIL loved it (comes with 3 pancakes but she only wanted one). $6!! Again - cannot beat the prices, portions AT ALL.

Connie Blaylock is the owner, she visited the table, made sure everything was good. She also had worked for Rose Briar, another wonderful staple in Albemarle.

Worth a visit, you can’t beat the wonderful home cooking. Quality ingredients and great service.

Can’t wait to go back and try a few other dishes!

Downtown Albemarle, quaint and lots of small shoppes to enjoy if you want to go for a walk.

We wouldn't know how their food is considering their NEW kitchen closing time is noon and not posted ANYWHERE!! It would've been nice to know as we have two little kids who we seated, and was approached by a woman who said they quit serving at noon, and we asked what time it was and she said 12:01. I told her it wasn't posted on the website. They may want to update so this doesn't happen again.

Kitchen closes at 12 so I have difficulty getting here in time to try it. I came in for a Frappuccino that tasted great ( I'm picky about my mocha to coffee ratio), and they even suggested I call ahead to order kitchen food that I can then pick up even after the kitchen closes. I will have to try that for my next visit. Either way, I'll be back for the coffee.

GloryBeans Coffeehouse offers an upbeat, warm environment to enjoy their handcrafted drinks, food specialties, and baked goods! you can meet with friends for a chat around one of the big farmhouse tables, curl up with a good book in one of their comfy chairs, or snag a quieter spot at a small table to get to work. my favorite is the dirty Tahitian vanilla chai latte and the delicious cheesecakes you can order by the slice. Stop in and see for yourself!
