So glad the 1/2 price sushi days are back.

We were there for the half off bar app on new years. Food was good.the sushi was good but it did a while to come out as it seems they only had one chefs working on it. Other than it was amazing.

I recently dined here with another couple and a friend. The following day, I noticed an additional charge of $96.03 from the restaurant on my bank account, on top of my actual bill.

When I called to report the issue, I was told that our waitress had mistakenly charged me for another table’s bill but that the charge had been voided and should correct itself. I monitored my account daily, but the refund never appeared.

When I called back, the manager, Tabitha, reviewed the transactions and explained that while the waitress had processed a refund, she had issued it as cash rather than returning it to my card. By her own admission, it looked as though the waitress had refunded the money to herself. I was assured the matter would be resolved once the owner/bookkeeper returned from vacation and that I would be contacted.

A week later, after still hearing nothing, I called again and was told by Tabitha that she was surprised the owner had not reached out, since they had my contact information. At this point, I have disputed the charge with my bank and contacted local authorities about what appears to be a fraudulent transaction.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Beyond the risk of fraudulent charges and mishandling of customer information, the food itself was mediocre at best. What should have been a $30 meal turned into a $96.03 headache—not worth the risk. If I could give zero stars I would.

Little Tokyo can improve by training staff to be more effective and efficiently at what they do. I don't go there often but when I do, the person at the hostess station is often so clueless. Tonight, when I went in, a new hire was at the hostess station. There was not any one else there when I arrived. I gave her my last name, followed up by first name. I also told her that I ordered 2 plates and a tea. There were three to-go orders sitting there. She looked at two of them and stated my order was not ready yet. She never looked at the name of the 3rd to go plate! She said the say thing when another customer came in, that her order wasn'tready even though it was sitting right there!. After nearly 5 minutes, another employee came out. She looked for the other customers food. It was among the ones sitting there! When rhe customer made a comment to the more experienced employees, she just shrugged it off and stated it's the other girl's first day. Then, she found mine. When I complained, the new hire began to argue. I love Little Tokyo's food but I hate visiting the hwy 52 location because similar things like this has happened before.

We walked in and walked straight back out. It is crazy that these workers have to work in 90° weather INSIDE. The waitresses were sweating like hogs and I can only imagine what the kitchen staff looked like cooking other people's food. The owners need to fix the air and they will have more business, it seems lazy on the owners part and inhumane.

Food quantity was not worth $23.53. mushrooms and broccoli was burnt and it had a burnt taste to it. This just ruined my Valentine's Day meal

I placed an order online, and when it was delivered, the order was wrong. I called to report the issue, and they assured me the correct food would be redelivered. After waiting an hour and a half, no delivery arrived. When I called back, they told me they would not redeliver and that I would have to come pick it up instead. This was a complete waste of my time and money. To make matters worse, the customer representative on the phone was rude and completely unhelpful. Do not order from this place!
