I always love the waffles! The only thing I'd advise is to try and be inside the restaurant or elsewhere at sundown, I happened to be outside throwing trash away when he asked me what I was doing there. I'd recommend the peanut butter chip waffles, it's always pretty delicious!

Ok so in the past I haven’t had a problem here but today was just upsetting. They were almost full and there were three chairs free. We have four including an infant. We chose to sit there and the infant was going to sit in my lap. They started speaking across the restaurant that we couldn’t sit there because a high chair wouldn’t fit. We explained that she was going to sit in our lap and sat down. After that the servers just glared at us and we sat for a few minutes with no one greeting us or making any move to take bring us menus out or ask about drinks. When one server did come deliver food to those around us she was muttering under her breath about “people don’t listen.” Here’s the thing if they have a policy about a group of four including an infant not being able to sit there I’d understand that. If we’d been talked to politely and asked to wait for another table because a baby sitting in our lap was somehow against their rules we could understand that, however I don’t appreciate being talked about under breaths or ignored and glared at. We left. I don’t usually write reviews in fact this may be my first one, I just felt that I needed to put this experience here.

As a Northwesterner I enjoy waffle house everytime I get to the east coast. Nice food good Cost. Don't fall for the youtube hype of mischief mist waffle house are nice day in and day out.
Amazing team work! They were slammed busy when we got there but it didn’t take long to get our food. Hot, strong coffee and sometimes you have to go for it and get hashbrowns all the way.! They did a great job and were very upbeat as well.

While i was waiting on my food I noticed the cook at the grill at the albemarle waffle house, he got out raw sausage from the refrigerator and put it on the grill then handled toast and put it in the toaster with the same pair of gloves, then put a biscuit on a plate with the same raw meat germ gloves and then that biscuit was served to a customer. This is cross contamination and could make someone sick or put them in the hospital

Its stupid that you can't order on the phone. The website does not let you custom ANYTHING!! Its ridiculous. I'm Not sure what's so hard about phone orders or adjusting the app for customization….
