Some friends and I stopped by one day, my day to name the restaurant we would visit, and had lunch. Two or three in the group, including me, had eaten there previously and could attest to very good experiences there.
During our meal, we all raved about our food. I had always thought that The Varsity in Greenville, North Carolina, and Mod Pizza on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina, could not be topped in terms of good pizza. I now have a new normal when it comes to selecting the best pizza I have ever eaten. Zilla’s! I am not one dab ashamed that I ordered a large Supreme Pizza and ate every tasty morsel of it, from the variety of flavorful toppings to the crispiest pizza crust ever I put in my mouth. Not one to use doggy bags, I was not about to allow one morsel of that culinary beauty to go to waste. I indulged myself!
When I asked my daughter and her significant other what they wanted for a joint Christmas present this year, they responded with “We want you to take us out for a pizza dinner”, that was fine by me. We could do either Mod’s or Zilla’s. My daughter made it easy; she later told me we would be going to Zilla’s. I guess Beth and Heidi have a new favorite pizza, too!

The husband and wife that owns this are fantastic people. This pizza is so good I drive 45 minutes to get it because nothing near me comes close. The crust is absolutely amazing and all the ingredients are fresh. It's definitely worth trying and the prices are beyond fair!

I work for a local company and had the honor of picking a restaurant to cater our lunch. Zilla’s was the first place out of my mouth because it’s close and the food hits every single time. They’re my family’s personal favorite. We ordered Baked Ziti, Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna, Salads, Garlic Knots, and Cannoli. This fed around 40 people. They DEVOURED it. It was so delicious, the CEO of our company came by my office to tell me how much he enjoyed lunch today and it was a great choice. The workers at Zilla’s were so kind and loaded the food in my car for me. I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this food was. They were ready on time, and the food was piping hot. 10/10 WILL order again. Zilla’s NEVER lets us down.
Side note: this was the first time I’d ever had Zilla’s pastas. My family normally orders pizza and the Birria Pizza is our favorite. The BBQ Mac and Cheese is also a family favorite in my house.

I lived in Tokyo Japan , Boston MA, Chapel Hill, Cary, Durham NC. I went to the best pizza places in these cities. However Zilla pizza is, in my opinion, the best I ever had !!

Excellent pizza! First time visiting ZILLA PIZZA in Ansonville and they crushed it! We got a Half Meat Zilla and half Fungus, I mean Mushroom, pizza. You can probably guess which side was mine and which side was Beth's! 😆 Gret crisp and awesome flavor. Highly recommend!

Allergic to pepper nothing on menu could be eaten. Others that could eat pizza was over cook or burnt. Server went out of way to try to be helpful.
