While traveling for work, a local coworker recommended CJ’s Olde Towne Restaurant—and I’m so glad they did. From the moment I walked in, this place brought back that warm, nostalgic feeling of a classic hometown diner.

The food was exactly what I needed: comforting, flavorful, and prepared with care. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp just the way I like it, and the biscuit? Easily a 10/10—flaky, soft, and absolutely delicious.

What truly stood out, aside from the food, was the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and homey vibe that made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

I can honestly say I’d drive two hours just to eat here again. CJ’s Olde Towne is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a great breakfast and genuine hospitality.

The waitresses are very nice and the food there for breakfast is amazing especially the egg and bacon sandwiches, the busboy actually cleans the table and not walk around and the atmosphere is just right! Highly recommend

When visiting NC we found this gem.
Mustafa is always friendly and no matter what you order off the menu it's good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We have stopped by this place multiple times because of the wide variety of foods that are available to order. All very tasty and since we get out of the thrift store a good variety to entice any taste buds.

This is probably one of the greatest places in Asheboro to eat. I sometimes eat there twice a day. The waitresses and cooks are amazing. Always a beat and friendly.

Front of house doesn’t greet you when you walk in. Someone should always say welcome to such and such. The same lady didn’t ask us how our meal was, didn’t say thank you or nothing. Not even a grin. RBF the entire time. Wait is too long. Downstairs doesn’t have everything a waitress station should. Also is smells funky. Server was top notch and food was good. The wait for the food was quicker than waiting for a seat when no one was in front or. Not busy time.

We ordered a chicken Charger Salad, Chicken Fingers with mashed potatoes and pasta salad and I ordered the daily special.First, the Chicken Charger salad ended up being a steak ceasar salad. Then my order of chicken fingers was missing pasta salad. Then I ordered the steak and gravy special with mashed potatoes and white beans. They missed the chicken salad by sending a steak salad with Cesar salad and dressing g with no sauce and then forgot my biscuits and white beans. I even went back and they screwed it up again.
