today's weather warranted bowl of chili for lunch. I've had chili form chili's and Wendy's (not many places even serve chili) David's Restaurant does and let me just tell ya, there is no need to keep looking! David's chili is hands down the best! I chose to have onions and cheese added and got a side of cheese fries to boot. this is my go to from now on. A+ guys, A+

Came from the charlotte area to visit zoo. Saw this place had good reviews and definitely worth it. I love how they serve almost every type of food with food quality. Prices are really good and definitely feels like home style cooking. I really liked the complementary soup too. Will definitely recommend and come back whenever im around.

Food is very good. My complaint is last time my sister and I went in to dine they we're going to sit us at the kitchen. My sister politely asked may we be seated elsewhere and then it seemed to upset the waitress so she got an attitude became really rude. So we walked out didn't even stay. We normally love David's but.... we like service with a smile especially if they expect a tip. Not attitude!! So I recommend if you are going to have a job working with the public do it pleasantly or stay home and be miserable. Rant over.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I've been coming to David's for a few years now and hands down this is my favorite restaurant. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Food is consistently great, they only messed up once ever: one of my eggs was overcooked, I told my waiter and I had 2 fresh eggs within minutes. He even apologized twice for this. My only wish there were more restaurants like this in Randolph.

David's is not currently honoring their gift cards. I purchased a gift card from David's in December as a gift. The person tried to use the card 10/30/24 and was told the card could not be accepted because David's new POS system was not set up to accept the card, the clerk offered to dispose of the card. I called the restaurant and was told this has been an issue for 6 months but the restaurant feels sure the company will correct the issue and the the gift card will eventually be accepted. As for the time being without receipts stating the amount on the card, David's restaurant will not accept gift cards purchased at their restaurant. Very poor way to show appreciation for their customers.
