David's is the best friendly family restaurant in Asheboro. Food is always good and priced reasonably! Even when the place is packed it's still great. I love the breakfast omelette.

We have been here several times now and the service and food is consistent and excellent. The house sauce is great on everything or so my kids report... Way too hot and spicy for me. They do an amazing job all the way around and will be one of our regular places.Parking: Easy access parking.
I would say it was okay but not awesome. We went in on a Monday evening about 5:00 pm. We were seated and the waitress took our drink orders. I got the Athenian wrap & my spouse had the rib eye and eggs. The soup was hot & tasty. When our orders arrived my wrap was good but my Fred were limp & greasy. The waitress showed up infrequently so it was difficult to request refills given her infrequent appearances. My husband's steak was tough Yhe waitress came up about halfway through and told my husband that hashbrowns if he wanted them. When they arrived they were hot and fresh. I would call this meal okay but not great. I doubt we will return.
Excellent breakfast! Many places overcook eggs when you ask for them soft, but David's Restaurant made them perfect. We will for sure be back!

I’m from GA. Passing by, stopped there from breakfast. Got the vegetarian ? omelet. Pancakes and hash browns came with it. Never had hash browns like this, thin slide fried potatoes, pretty good food!!!
