My wife and I had dinner at Dixie III and we enjoyed it. I don't know what the original building was, but it reminded me of an old Reid's House. We were there kind of early for dinner, so there was no crowd. The service was prompt and the food was excellent. The portions were large. We both ate for around $20.00. We most definately will return and I hope you try them out too. Update: Sadly, I have confirmed that Dixie III is closing September 9, 2021 because the owners are retiring.

Ordered a meal online for pickup. It sounded really good, salmon patties, baked potato, green beans, salad and banana pudding. The salmon patties were over cooked as was the baked potato. The banana pudding was horrible. I won't be back. The green beans were okay as was the salad.

Read all the good reviews and thought we had found a place with good down home cooking. When we got there the place was packed ( another good sign). Well Evidently we are missing something. The food had no flavor at all. I will say the service was good though.

We love Dixie! My family and I have eaten here for years, dating back to when I was a kid. Their fried okra is the best I've ever had. The chicken tenders are so tender and the breading is not too thick. The ranch is great too! Their sweet potato casserole is not a daily vegetable but it is so good! My husband loves their fried chicken too.
