Firehouse Subs Asheboro

Really good but a little pricey

We ordered through Grubhub for delivery. We ordered two Italian subs, but with different toppings. Not Firehouse's fault, but the delivery arrived over an hour later than stated at the time of the order. Cold food is not good.

Upon opening the order, we discovered that the two sandwiches were identical, despite ordering them differently. In addition, we ordered pickles and different cookies. We received two of the same cookies and no pickles.

I don't understand why it's so difficult to read instructions and follow them. This seems to happen at nearly every restaurant I visit.

I absolutely appreciate our food industry workers, as they have a very tough job and we all rely on them regularly. I just don't understand why following simple directions is so difficult. I just wish we could return to the days of excellent customer service and when people took pride in their work.

When I look at all the sandwich and sub choices out there, I see Firehouse Subs as my number one go-to for quality, taste, value and service! If you have not tried them yet, you will be surprised when you see what you have been missing!

The people working here don't even care about being there their one girl running the whole thing (girl with curly hair) while the Hispanic and white girl in the back are just sitting down. Terrible work ethic.

Walked in and there were 3 ladies behind the counter, none acknowledged that we were there. Waited at the counter for 5 min while a girl looked down at the register and never looked up at us. Tried to get her attention, but to no avail. Ended up leaving as no one would help us.

Pretty slow as usual. Sandwich was soaking wet, got so disgusted couldn’t eat it from the sloppiness/ the bread was literally disintegrating from a grossly overdressed sandwich. Don’t want anything. We already don’t eat here since my husband dislikes it and now I have to agree.

I called after being informed that they was in fact hiring and the employee stated that because she did not like me they was not hiring threaten to call police if I called about an application and even texted me threatening messages saying the managers Courtney was on her side and would make sure the manager Michael knew not to hire me. After the experience I had on trying to get a job from here I do not even want to eat from here and fear for the safety of costumers.

I know somone whom worked at this establishment for around 4 months give or take. The owner, not naming any names. Had made a young women feel bad for asking for Sundays off in order to go to church, and do what her religion says. He had made the claim that no one can take honesty after making assumptions without knowing the reality of what he talked about, claiming what he says is true. Making claims about this young women without knowing the facts, it made this young worker quite and brought her to tears after hereing this. It was disrespectful and uncalled for the way he handled the situation. Not to mention the owner has made a few other remarks I do not wish to get into detail.

This firehouse location is great. People are nice and the food was as expected. My only feedback would be to make the app easier to redeem points. It's not this locations fault for the franchise falling short with that, but wanted to mention it.

Honestly this is just a horrible place the atmosphere is horrible the staff is rude the place is disgusting the food was ok the guy there needs to learn to be more

Had the pastrami corned beef sub. Absolutely delicious. Place was clean and people were happy. Had one service person in there doing everything by himself. He didn't complain and he handled everyone and everything with perfection. I do think the management needs however to hire more employees. This fella shouldn't have had to do this all alone. Because he was doing the work of two I feel he should have been paid twice as much that day.

Food was prepared fast, tasted great and was presented nicely. There were plenty of options on the menu (although bread options were limited - white and wheat only). Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. Would definitely recommend.
