Recently moved to the area, attended the Fall Festival, enjoyed our time in Asheboro. My wife and I wanted to try the restaurants out and took a chance on this even though recent reviews were less than promising. We did not make reservations and it seemed to upset the 3 employees that greeted us at the door. They told us “I guess you can sit here”. A table next to their “station” so close we could not sit across from each other. Our order was taken quickly and things seemed to be improving, until our food arrived. My wife ordered the “Pigzone”, and it arrived with one of the 2 topping you can add being wrong and no sauce in it as the menu indicated. We advised our server who relieved the server who took our order and she checked and the error occurred in the kitchen. A manager did come talk to us and advised we would not be charged for the item so that was very nice of them. My food (Buffalo chicken sandwich) was ok, but our overall experience is reflected in our rating. Maybe it was an isolated incident we experienced but with so many choices in this area it will be sometime before we give them another shot.

If you are not a local, I do not recommend going. Waitress was polite, she took our order right away and served our drinks quickly. However, we sat there for a very long time waiting on our food. Once it was served half of the food orders were cold. The hot ham and cheese is not hot, it is served cold. I’m very upset with the $ spent on this meal. Trying to understand why my friends that are locals recommended this as a good lunch spot.

Had a dinner with my co-workers. It’s a Pig themed restaurant and having good vibes. I ordered “The Pig Bianca” pizza which was almost vegetarian pizza if you don’t add chicken toppings. We also ordered Chicken wings and Nachos. Pizza was good and so cheesy. Wings were also good in taste. Overall satisfied with taste of the food. Service was even better.

Didn't have capicola on the Italian like it said. Had a cheaper type of salami instead kind of disappointing. Also felt very rushed

I had the “slap yo Mama fish dog” mahi fish, slaw on a hot dog bun and it was delicious! House chips great too! My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and he said it was good too! Sports bar atmosphere, football on tv. Service was great & friendly; food came out a little slow. Only reason gave 4 on atmosphere was bathroom had a weird smell. We would certainly eat here again when visiting the Asheboro, NC area. Good variety of options on the menu and good downtown location.

Kid-friendliness: High chairs, kids options , family friendly

Very cool sport bar vibe hence the whole flying pig name. Lol. It all makes sense. It's all about football and pigskin. 🏈🏉🏈🏉

Most everything is deep fried so be prepared for that. There are salads available... I didn't see anyone eating them though. 🥰
A good environment to bring kids because it is noisy and kids are noisy. But it's okay. They do have a kid-friendly items on the menu which is very neat and lots of things for kids to look at. Totally a great place to play. I spy... I'm just saying.

Parking: There is street parking and there is a free parking area across the street. But you know it's okay. You want to walk a little bit after you've had all that fried food anyway and it was yummy.

Kid-friendliness: Kid-Friendly options with the menu and lots of things for them to look at. Well there's lots of TVs to also keep them entertained and the adults too. By the way, kids at heart you know.

They need to do something about the moldy smell when you first walk in. The bathroom was clean, but the walls and little cabinet needed some serious paint. I know it's an older building, but just a few touch-ups will really help. The food is always great And our waitress was wonderful to.

The pizza here is fantastic! We ordered half pepperoni half other toppings and light tomato sauce. My son said it's the best pizza he's ever ate. It was very good. Just had to wait a long time for it.
