This is a 24-hour waffle restaurant and the first thing on the menu is waffles. Totally makes sense. The coffee is there to make the food shine. So if you're coming for designer coffee, this is not the place. I ordered the special number three which is a chopped steak with eggs and it was good and I to have chose to have it the way they make it. It was unseasoned so I was able to season it to my taste. The vibe is old style coffee house with countertop seating as well. Parking...

The GW is a diner. A real diner with sassy waitresses, never closed and honest diner food. It's not fancy and there's a good chance you'll have to wait a bit for table (or, sit at the counter) but it's the kind of place you'll remember.

I've lived in Asheboro my entire life.and have never been here so my boyfriend and I went today for the first time. The waitress, Debbie, was so nice and the food was delicious. Absolute best sweet tea ever! We will definitely be going back!
