The food is standard southern/fast food. Nothing special. Just a nice regular warm meal. But, the people were really nice and made us feel at home. I could tell the food was made with love even if it was just average. We were happy to find an unpopulated restaurant with such immediate, personal and detailef care. Grateful to the women for taking care of us. We really needed a quiet place with a fresh hot meal. The outdoor bathroom on the side of the building is a bit scary though, the cracks are duct taped on the old wooden door. The sink is inside the restaurant so you have to go through two sets of doors before you can wash your hands. The situation needs a lot but more attention.

Always enjoy going to Hop’s. Used to go with one of my co-workers from my previous job at least once a week. Never had anything bad there. The staff is always friendly and keep you hydrated. Hydration is definitely important when you’re blue collar! lol

We absolutely love Hop's BBQ!!! The food is so delicious! You won't find better BBQ anywhere else. The service and atmosphere are excellent and I love the location in downtown Asheboro on Sunset Ave which is old historic Asheboro. Hops's is THE BEST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place must have the best management ever, in business since 1952 and still has the wait staff as when they opened. Just drive to Lexington this isn’t Bbq. Person behind us was served 1000 island dressing still in the Food Lion bottle, so I doubt much of anything is scratch made. If you love being called hun and ain’t picky about speed the service is splendid.
