Love to see a place paying tribute to local servicemen. Maybe 400 pictures of community members who have served our country. 7 of us dined here after visiting the zoo. Absolutely everything we had was wonderful. Our server and her service were better than I've had in many restaurants; upscale or otherwise. We never ran out of drinks. Refills were plentiful. All our food was wonderful. This will be my go to place for when we visit the zoo. Can't say enough good things about this place. The owner cooks, brings some of the food to the table, runs the register some and more than unusual, thanked us for coming to eat there. No this wasn't some spiel from Chicfila but a local business owner that means everything he says.

Fantastic food and service! We used Jed’s to cater a baby shower for 60 people and the experience was wonderful. Danny, the owner, made sure everything was ready for pick up on time and took care of all our needs. He advised me how much food to order for our crowd and was spot on!
The pulled pork bbq, buns, slaws (red/white), macaroni and cheese, baked beans, hush puppies, and sauces were excellent. He kept everything warm in tins and a fancy cambro for transportation. Danny even ensured that we had crushed ice for our gallons of sweet tea. He truly went above and beyond!
I highly recommend eating at Jed’s and going to them for all of your catering needs. You won’t find better than Danny!
Ordered 1/2 bbq chicken plate with a side of fries since you can’t sub fries for hush puppies. Got a 1/4 chicken with no fries or hush puppies. Quality used to be a lot better.

Went to Jeds this morning for some breakfast. I wouldn't expect a place that advertised itself as a BBQ and seafood joint to have a good breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised! Very friendly staff too. If your look for the southern breakfast experience, this place definitely delivers.

Everything was great. I love stopping at small family owned restaurants. This one did not disappoint. The barbecue was really good. The staff has clearly been there a long time and they seem to know all of the regular customers. A great place to stop if you have the time!
We attended a wedding this weekend that was catered by Jed’s and let me just say this was the best bbq I’ve had. Everyone loved the sides and the sweet tea was great! They had Macaroni and tenders as well and it was all awesome. We have been to a lot of weddings and I would say this was the best food hands down.
