Fantastic food and service! We used Jed’s to cater a baby shower for 60 people and the experience was wonderful. Danny, the owner, made sure everything was ready for pick up on time and took care of all our needs. He advised me how much food to order for our crowd and was spot on!
The pulled pork bbq, buns, slaws (red/white), macaroni and cheese, baked beans, hush puppies, and sauces were excellent. He kept everything warm in tins and a fancy cambro for transportation. Danny even ensured that we had crushed ice for our gallons of sweet tea. He truly went above and beyond!
I highly recommend eating at Jed’s and going to them for all of your catering needs. You won’t find better than Danny!
Ordered 1/2 bbq chicken plate with a side of fries since you can’t sub fries for hush puppies. Got a 1/4 chicken with no fries or hush puppies. Quality used to be a lot better.

Went to Jeds this morning for some breakfast. I wouldn't expect a place that advertised itself as a BBQ and seafood joint to have a good breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised! Very friendly staff too. If your look for the southern breakfast experience, this place definitely delivers.

Everything was great. I love stopping at small family owned restaurants. This one did not disappoint. The barbecue was really good. The staff has clearly been there a long time and they seem to know all of the regular customers. A great place to stop if you have the time!

The food is good I have only been there for breakfast there booths are uncomfortable they are not padded like most booths are but there food is good

We attended a wedding this weekend that was catered by Jed’s and let me just say this was the best bbq I’ve had. Everyone loved the sides and the sweet tea was great! They had Macaroni and tenders as well and it was all awesome. We have been to a lot of weddings and I would say this was the best food hands down.
Horrible! Boasts towns best bbq, but as an out of towner, i was more than disappointed. Sat down to order, table was filthy, tried to order pig skins, they were out, tried to order bbq chicken, only serve on friday and Saturday... Salad bar... Closed down since covid. So, with not much other choice i settle for a pork bbq sandwich.... I almost spit it out, literally tasted like wet pig... Just soggy, tasteless pork. The service was not great either. I will say the war room... Veteran room.... Was a very cool and unique touch

Great home cooking. Good service. Country cooked vegetables. Excellent rolls. Tea is great. They are busy but service is good. Reliable stop fo a nice square meal. "Jed" is busy behind the scenes making sure everything is quality. I know from being the Pastor at Sawyersville Wesleyan, that they do a great to go, catered job too! Solid 4.0. Probably more of a 4.2 or 4.3. It is on my list of local faves, in Asheboro. Parking is a little tight. Give yourself and them a break, ... & come a little before or after major meals times, for a better experience..
