pizza place is ok, not a lot of choices, but for a cafe inside a zoo its fine. Pepperoni is better than veggie

We didn't have that bad of an experience here. We used the app to order and food was ready around 10 minutes. Got the chicken tenders which were decent sized (only 2) and the fries were just plain and bland. The prices are gonna be high anywhere like this so we expected as much.

WAY WAY WAY OVERPRICED FOR THE FOOD QUALITY

Hamilton

It took an hour for the food to be ready from a mobile, with no update as to why it was taking so long. We were told they couldn't refund us, and had to watch people who ordered in person get their food right away. Also the text that the system was supposed to send when the food was done didn't come until an hour after we had gotten the food and left. A black mark on an otherwise very pleasant visit to the zoo.

Need a 0 rating! This place was truly awful and nearly ruined our day at the zoo. We used mobile ordering that was plastered all over the exterior of the building, HUGE MISTAKE! We, along with MANY other disgruntled guests who made the mistake of using mobile ordering, were left waiting for our food anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour! They don't notify you when your food is ready so we all stood inside in a small area waiting for our orders. The people that opted to go inside and wait in line to order received their food in a relatively timely manner, but it was too late for us who used the mobile code outside. To make matters worse, our burgers were cold, and not cooked thoroughly! $32 for 2 burgers that weren't eaten because they were raw! There were 6 of us, 1 ordered chicken fingers and they were cooked, the 5 of us had raw, cold burgers. Look at the cheese, the burger wasn't even warm enough to melt it! Absolutely no excuse for this at THE NC zoo! Avoid at all costs.

Well I paid $11 something for a bottle of water and a fruit cup. There were no prices for these items listed so sticker sock was definitely there. We have visited other zoo's in different states and never spent this much. Total rip off for a water and a cup of grapes with 2 orange slices.

The cashier was horribly trained and had no sense of customer service. Food was EXPENSIVE and NASTY! We totally wasted our time and money…and that to feel sick afterwards. Yuck!! Two restrooms, only one was open, no diaper changing station, and disgusting. I think the Zoo needs to end the contract and stop letting this place take advantage of us…like it is not okay to give us no options to eat, knowing that we are there with kids and leaving is hard. Heck, I just WONT RETURN TO THE ZOO.

AVIOD the pizza place! Got zucchini on a pizza that said “roasted veggies” that had a picture of pizza with olives, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. And it had 2 SMALL cut peppers. And one giant chuck of mushrooms. However it had enough zucchini on it to feed all the gorillas if they had an appetite for that. The pizza was so green from pesto it could have been mistake for a lily pad. Pigs wouldn’t eat it if it was thrown in their pen.
If you do order from there, go in and be SPECIFIC about what you want on it.

Food is ok. However it's super expensive for what you get. Three meals with drinks cost $80. This was burgers and club sandwiches that came with chips and a drink.
