The cashier was horribly trained and had no sense of customer service. Food was EXPENSIVE and NASTY! We totally wasted our time and money…and that to feel sick afterwards. Yuck!! Two restrooms, only one was open, no diaper changing station, and disgusting. I think the Zoo needs to end the contract and stop letting this place take advantage of us…like it is not okay to give us no options to eat, knowing that we are there with kids and leaving is hard. Heck, I just WONT RETURN TO THE ZOO.

AVIOD the pizza place! Got zucchini on a pizza that said “roasted veggies” that had a picture of pizza with olives, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. And it had 2 SMALL cut peppers. And one giant chuck of mushrooms. However it had enough zucchini on it to feed all the gorillas if they had an appetite for that. The pizza was so green from pesto it could have been mistake for a lily pad. Pigs wouldn’t eat it if it was thrown in their pen. If you do order from there, go in and be SPECIFIC about what you want on it.

It was the worst experience of all time. The ordering itself took 15 minutes. Then it took, no joke, and hour and a half for the food to arrive, and half of it wasn't even there. It was outrageously priced at a staggering $17 for a single burger, not even including the fries. They were an extra $4, and the drinks were $6. All together, we paid a whopping $127 for half of what we ordered. And to add insult to injury, there were no refunds. The rest of the zoo is great, but beware of the cafe. Bring your own food and water.

The food has gotten worse and the prices have gone way, way up over the years. We visited the zoo yesterday and we typically just eat at the zoo because the chicken fingers were actually quite tasty from this Cafe. Lo and behold, no more chicken fingers. Burger prices have climbed from $10.50 for sizable burger + fries to $17 for small single-patty burger + chips; the french fry option was missing altogether and they gave a small handful of chips along with the burger instead of the previous generous portion of fries. This has all occurred over the last 5 years as we've been zoo regulars since our son was a toddler. We were very disappointed in the quality and the price on this visit, so much so that I don't believe we'll be dining at the zoo again in the future, we'll bring our own food. On the plus side, mobile ordering was fast, under 5 minutes, and they did actually text us when it was ready which is something that hasn't consistently happened in the past.

Placed it on the app because it would be easier for us with a semi big party including kids. The website stated that you could upgrade your fries for $1.99 extra. Placed the order and picked it up only then to find out that they don't sell fries anymore. Asked for a refund and they said they couldn't do refunds and said they can give us a number to call (no one picked up). Customer service was horrible, employees, including manager was super rude. Kept rolling her eyes and then snatched the recipe from our hands. Don't order from here. It's not worth it, just eat before you go.
Junction Springs Cafe is a joke! The food was horrible. We brought our family to visit the zoo and decided to eat at JUNCTION SPRINGS CAFE. Biggest mistake of the day. We spent just over 110.00 for food, burgers and fries. When we got the food, we were told they had no French fries. We even spent extra to get the cheese fries. Wife asked for a refund on the order and the folks that worked there got an attitude with my wife and daughter. They were just lucky I wasn’t there when they got the attitude cause things for sure would have gone differently. They told her no refunds. Gave us chips instead. Our burgers were cold and nasty. Cheese wasn’t even melted on them. Chips even tasted stale. They gave a number to call and no one answered. They even snatched the receipt out of my wife’s hands. The more I write this review, the more upset I get. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR DOOD! Worst experience ever and it just made our day at the zoo a big disappointment. I would love to have someone contact us regarding this issue!
