Stopped in Asheboro for the night on our way to Charlottesville. It’s a lovely town.There is an art culture and several wonderful restaurants ( and apparently a fabulous zoo). But what a treat to find several craft bars with very talented bartenders. This was one of them. My husband said he had the best Mint Julep ever…We did not eat so I can’t rate food. We attended an outdoor event hosted by Leo's Whiskey Bar. Their service and drinks were incredible. We are looking forward to going back when they are actually open, since we were there on a Sunday morning. If you enjoy Bloody Mary's, theirs was incredible. Along with their expresso martini.
My girlfriend and I were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in here. The drinks were delicious. The staff was so helpful in explaining the menu and elevating our experience. And above all, the company and conversation with staff and other patrons made the whole night such a great vibe.
