First time customer, long-time visitor to downtown Asheboro. I was flying solo this particular evening and decided to give OG’s a try. Downstairs is typical booth, sit-down seating. The bar is upstairs, and standard in size and appearance for more sports bars. Plenty of big screen TV’s upstairs to see whatever sporting event is on.Beer options are plenty, as too was the vast collection of liquors along the backside of the bar. The menu offers options for any mood: Pizza, calzones, Stromboli’s, pasta, subs, hamburgers, gyros, wings, wraps, salads, tacos, and full entree Mexican options…it’s mixed bag and really more options than anyone would need. But, if you don’t know what you want to eat, odds are you’ll find it on their menu.I ordered the chicken gyro with chips. The chips were crispy and delicious as advertised in other reviews. The gyro had good flavor but the tenderness was too overcooked - chicken was too dry, but that is common among most restaurants because they want to make sure it’s done (the USDA has people overcooking chicken with their recommended internal temps). I followed up with an order of teriyaki chicken wings that were cooked to perfection - crispy! In fact, they were so good, I forgot to take a picture. I’ll definitely be back to try several other items on the menu.

I am not the person to leave bad reviews but tonight really upset me. I am not sure what is going on with this place but waited almost a hour when I was told on the phone that my to go order would be ready in 15 mins. I had to ask them more than once if my order was ready. Very rude employees and didn’t seem to have good customer service skills.

[Stopped by for a Saturday dinner.]Food - chicken empanadas! (all I have to say)The Baliadas on their menu are [personally (3/10)] you may have a different opinion if you’re taste buds are open minded and like (what I like to describe it as) goat cheese. lolService - if you’re white (Caucasian), you got it made… you might give this place the other 2 stars I left out on this rating.Drinks - reasonable pricesWheelchair accessibility: There’s a smaller inaccessible wheelchair area that is the bar /casual dining area. The restaurants entrance is curbside (sidewalk) accessible.

In December my wife and I dined here for dinner. We ordered burgers and fries.... AWESOME. In January we went again with another couple. The food on both occasions were very good. I love chicken alfredo and ordered on my 2nd visit... this sauce I could tell was from scratch and plenty of "seasoned" chicken. My wife and another with us both ordered a philly-cheese-steak and they raved over it. Nothing to complain about at OG's.

Service from the first server was horrible. My drink was served with a disgusting piece of fruit that literally had a fruit fly on it. The server kept forgetting things we asked for. That wasn't the worst part. Every item on our check was a different price than what the menu said. When the extremely rude bartender came over she told me that every item already had the tax added on it. When I did the math that wasn't correct and we were being charged more and then taxed on top of that. This is illegal and extremely shady. The food was horrible, service horrible, and extremely unethical.stephanie was the rude bartender whose response was childish. All she could say in teenage girls tone was, "ummm... okay". Elsa was the manager who kept us waiting for over 15 minutes. Then calls me after we left. Check your bill! Better yet don't waste your time. It was horrendous. I'm reporting them to the BBB and they will be lucky if I don't sue because this is fraud!!!

Delicious shrimp quesadillas, grilled chicken tacos, jalapeño poppers and garlic knots. The restaurant is clean and not crowded. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely an amazing place. I made my first visit yesterday and I am already looking forward to going back. The food was amazing and the staff was great. The food is priced great for the size of the portions--the Stromboli was massive and could feed at least two people. The spaghetti and meatballs dish was also amazing and the wings are a must.

OG Sports Grill is a gem for downtown Asheboro. A great multi-cultural menu, combined with plenty of TVs to catch events. Their upstairs bar is a fun place to hang out. Their food quality was great, service friendly. Visit with confidence.
