They closed and moved out without shutting down MenuStar. I ordered and paid online...only to drive into town to find an empty padlocked building. I'm out the money, and not very happy about it. I really liked their food and hate to see them gone, but there is no excuse for this. I wasn't allowed to post a comment with zero stars...

If I could give a zero, I would! Called to place and order for pick up. My husband went to pick it up and was told that the number we dialed was wrong and there was no order placed there for us. I called the number I originally called to place the order to get address and they told me that the location where my husband was at is the there location. They told my husband that the number we dialed was wrong but it’s the number listed on google. As mentioned I called to confirm address. It was my first time trying out this place and the experience was completely ridiculous and unprofessional!

I Went here not to long ago my food was hell of good me and my boyfriend had fun with it it came up to 57$ and some change but was definitely worth it with how much we had Definitely try it

I had a horrible experience here. I wish I could tell you what the food tasted like but I didn’t even get to taste it. I ordered before I came an still ended up waiting around 45 minutes for 2 tacos and a quessabirria… at the 25 minute mark I grew annoyed seeing people who placed orders after me leave with their food. I expressed my frustration with the young boy at the counter but I continued to wait. At the 45 minute mark I was over it. As I got up to speak to him I realized that my order had been waiting on the counter for about ten minutes getting cold, he didn’t care all he did was shrug his shoulders. It felt like he did this on purpose. They don’t know how to treat customers and they also don’t care about your time… terrible

First and last experience..... an hour and a half for a to-go order for subpar tacos.... didn't have any chicken...so we were told...steak was kind of overcooked.... birria consume wasn't ready..... I mean there was absolutely no reason to have waited that long for mediocre food. If taco Tuesday is one of your busiest days, preparation is key. I so wanted to like this place, but the wait alone was such a turn off that I'm afraid to give it another try.

Worst service ever!! My husband and I went there last night and were there an hour and never received our order! We watched 4 "to-go" customers walk in after we had already been seated for 20 minutes, place their orders, get their food and leave. The waitresses ignored us and never asked if we needed a refill or drinks or anything. Will NEVER go back!!!
Hands down the best tacos in Asheboro! The service is always fast and the people are so kind!Dietary restrictions: I eat gluten free and I can eat everything on the menu!

After waiting about an hour and a haft in the tiny restaurant as the management got more sheepish as the time went on, the four people in our group slowly got there food about 15 minutes apart from each other. I'm sorry but tacos just should not take that long at all, especially when they didn't seem to be terribly busy. A real shame and will hit up la hacienda any other day of the week, instead.

Food tasted good going down, but the next day I had an 9 hour bout of really bad diarrhea. One helping of me Immodium AD fixed that, thankfully.I usually eat cleanly and only eat two meals a day. Pretty sure I ingested something there that did this to me. I know the cycle my body is on, and it couldn't have been any other meal. I also have a very strong stomach, I am like a billy goat, can eat anything. Mexican is my favorite cuisine!I got the taco salad where everything was mixed together by me., along with some mild taco sauces. Like I said, tasted OK, but if there was anything rotten or had in it, it would have been masked by the taco sauce and seasonings, making it not easily noticeable.I also got a steak taco on the side. Corn tortilla with cilantro and onion. It was divine.There was very heavy oil on the corn tortilla and also on the basket of chips brought out. The taco salad was supposed to come in like a tortilla bowl... But they were out of them. So they just gave the taco salad to me in a plastic bowl. I wasn't disappointing, I didn't need the extra calories.Service was a little slow. Stood in line for about ten minutes with only three people in front of me. Then after ordering, I felt the food taking 15 minutes was a bit long.Ambiance, has an authentic Mexican flair to the decorum, Mexican movie stars, the "skull" decorations (which I don't know what they represent). Dining room was small and simple. Had a good crowd during lunch.Side note. After lunch I went to Coffee place next door and he said they ( Mexican place) are doing better now. I guess early on when the opened they had some quality consistency struggles.I hope they can pinpoint what might have been "bad"

Oh my goodness! So Authentic, fresh & delicious!!! We ordered to go. It’s a small place. But wow! My husband raved best tacos he’s ever had! Seriously fresh and authentic.The prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely recommend ???
