Nasty atmosphere, slow service, nothing ready when you order on the app ahead of time, produce always awful, always out of something. Drive to the other Asheboro location to save yourself time

This establishment is a scam because I placed my order online and when I went to pick it up, they told me they didn't have it and that I should cancel it because they couldn't and didn't have the ingredients to make it. I called to get my money back and what they told me was that they couldn't give me a refund and that my request was denied, so in the end I paid for the food and they didn't want to give me anything

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a subway. The bread was stale. The lettuce was pink and looked nasty. The mountain dew tasted awful. The customer restroom was out of order. I would give them a 1 star but the meat from our subs and the bag of chips was okay.

I’m very disappointed with this place. I’ve ordened twice and they don’t prepare the food right. They always have that metal thing that hides all the meat, I asked them if I can see the meat so I can choose, and they, “we can’t show you right now” and when I tried to see and lean on a little over the glass, all the meat was in poor condition, even I saw a receipt inside the meat area. I will never buy here anymore. Disgusting

Service was slow. The inside is actually nice, quaint little hole in the wall kind of place, but the place was filthy. Lettuce and crumbs on every seat in the place and I do mean every seat. Also there weren’t any lids out because they didn’t feel like restocking :/
In general this location seems understaffed and lazy. If you’re set on subway go to a different one.

Edit: Also forgot to add I payed extra for steak on my Philly and big surprise there was hardly any meat on it. I don’t recommend eating at this subway but if you do don’t order extra/upcharge items because they’re just going to make it how they want and take the up charge anyways. Just a disappointment all around.

Absolutely terrible!!!!! Very disrespectful attitude!! Husband is a dasher and went to get a customers order and the female worker (the male worker sat on his butt doing nothing) lied about receiving the order. (My husband provided the proof of address and door dash order to her and she got pissy with him. we called dasher support and they called the store. They IGNORED the phone. Husband brought in his own phone with the dasher support on the line and the female worker got pissy and EXTREMELY rude to the dasher support and threw a tantrum when asked to make the customers order. This happened January 30, 2025 between 8:30pm and 9pm.

Ordered delivery off of website. A woman called me and stated they didn't carry the personal pizzas anymore. So I asked if they could do the cheese rolls instead. She was like oh yes I can do that for you. Then forgetting that she hasn't hung the phone up yet starts complaining about what I had just asked her to do. When my order is delivered I realize that they missed a sub and a coke. I tried calling the store about 5 times and no one answered. To top it off, the cheese rolls and the pretzel stick where hard! The cold cut combo sub was swimming in mayo and only had bologna on it and the roll was hard. You can bet I will be going there tomorrow to get a refund! This was absolutely some of the worst food I have gotten in a long time!!!
