Downtown Asheboro. Easy parking for lunch. Cute spot. Waitress greeted and seated us at the door. Authentic Mexican food (see the menu), with very reasonable prices. My only issue was the small votive/shot glass the lemon drop martini was served in. Looks like they gave us the shot and not the cocktail. Next time, we’ll just order margaritas. I’ll definitely be going back.

Best tacos I have ever had. I got the mahi mahi, shrimp, and Hawaiian chicken tacos. All of them were loaded and delicious. The cooks are definitely top notch and got our food out quickly. The servers are great too. It seems like they really enjoy their job. I did not get the name of our server but she was great. They were super busy but she brought my wife and I 2 drinks right away so we would be covered in case she got super busy. She was also attentive and quick. The bartender also made sure everything was good with our food. The guacamole was also really good. -Jacob G
My wife and I went back tonight 9/26. I got the same things and she got the quesabirra and the Miami vice drink. The drink was very good and so was the quesabirra (luckily she let me try them) Our waitress this time was Lily. She was great and seemed to have a deep knowledge of the menu. I should have asked the name of the bartender but I forgot, he was great as well. Great food, great value, great people.

My friend and I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. Right from the start, the waiter handed us menus that had fresh pen ink all over them. As soon as we grabbed them, the ink stained our nails and even ruined my friend’s brand-new sweater. To make it worse, my friend had just gotten her nails done, and I had gotten mine a few days ago as well—so you can imagine how frustrating that was. When we went to wash our hands, we came back only to find flies all over our food. We politely asked for new tacos, but instead of being understanding, we overheard a man in the back saying something in an annoyed voice. That was extremely unprofessional and made us feel like we were bothering them when we were the ones dealing with the problem. We don’t normally complain, but we have a special event this weekend and now my friend’s new sweater and nails are ruined. On top of that, the restaurant didn’t even offer us a discount or any kind of apology beyond simply replacing the food. Overall, the service and cleanliness were unacceptable, and we left very disappointed. I have attached a picture of my friends manicure recipe to show we are not lying about the fees manicures

Great little out of the way Mexican restaurant. Very authentic. Best chicken quesadilla in a 50 mile radius. Their churros were good, too. The rice and beans had flavor. Their salsa had a unique kick. The atmosphere was fun. Must check it out if you are in the neighborhood. Parking is parallel unless you get lucky on Sunset or go behind Horizon Bank and walk.

I visited Cantina Taco Loco after reading about it on Downtown Asheboro website. It did not disappoint! Outstanding Tacos, rice and beans. House margarita with salt is also delicious. I enjoyed this delicious food so much. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. People of Asheboro and visitors are so lucky to have this delicious lunch or dinner spot!
Great place to eat. Downtown so if you go at a busy time parking may be a hassle.

I really enjoyed my visit to Cantina Taco Loco. The service was great, super friendly, quick, and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I also loved the vibe of the place and the decoration is colorful and fun, which gives it a really nice and welcoming atmosphere.
