Downtown Asheboro. Easy parking for lunch. Cute spot. Waitress greeted and seated us at the door. Authentic Mexican food (see the menu), with very reasonable prices. My only issue was the small votive/shot glass the lemon drop martini was served in. Looks like they gave us the shot and not the cocktail. Next time, we’ll just order margaritas. I’ll definitely be going back.
Best tacos I have ever had. I got the mahi mahi, shrimp, and Hawaiian chicken tacos. All of them were loaded and delicious. The cooks are definitely top notch and got our food out quickly. The servers are great too. It seems like they really enjoy their job. I did not get the name of our server but she was great. They were super busy but she brought my wife and I 2 drinks right away so we would be covered in case she got super busy. She was also attentive and quick. The bartender...
Great little out of the way Mexican restaurant. Very authentic. Best chicken quesadilla in a 50 mile radius. Their churros were good, too. The rice and beans had flavor. Their salsa had a unique kick. The atmosphere was fun. Must check it out if you are in the neighborhood. Parking is parallel unless you get lucky on Sunset or go behind Horizon Bank and walk.
