Pizza is great here. They even have a HUGE pizza that is insanely large! Everything is fresh and made to order; service is great. If you’re in town looking for NYC-style pizza, this is your best bet.
Ok for what it is. Decent portions and fairly fresh ingredients but if you're looking for GOOD Italian this isn't it. I'm not an Olive Garden fan but it would be definitely better, but for a local quick pizza probably ok.
I ordered a salad and the smallest pizza they have. Ordered Italian sausage and veggies. I was very disappointed that they were literally 4 small round pieces of sausage. You’d think for $31.00 they would put a decent amount of sausage on the pizza!, and they also did not add the olive oil and basil that was in the order also. Pizza Inn, here I come!
We went here while visiting Asheboro for the zoo. The staff were all very friendly & the food was excellent!! Our toddler was a little loud & they didn’t seem to mind. Excellent family friendly, low key, place with amazing food! We will be back!
When we learned our original destination was closed because of the Labor Day weekend, we went here because we had passed it, it was nearby and we were unfamiliar with Asheboro. My impression was, regardless the high sanitation score from state inspectors, that the floor was dirty and a few tables needed clearing and cleaning. You get in line, grab a menu and order and pay before getting your meal. They give you a large number to put on your table so they can find you. You draw your own soda from the machine and find a suitable table. My wife ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza. My daughter ordered two of cheese pizza. My son-in-law ordered shells and I ordered lasagna with a side of meatballs. The pizza slices arrived 10 minutes before the shells and lasagna. I had to ask for the side of meat balls three times, which arrived 10 minutes after I had finally received my lasagna. My daughter's pizza was swimming in olive oil which she found unappealing. My wife said her pizza was fine. My son-in-law said the shells were okay but a little salty. My lasagna was struggling to stay afloat in a sea of sauce and was way too salty for my taste. When they finally arrived, the meat balls were fine. There were three big ones, so my son-in-law took one. I would not go back because of the way they spaced out serving of the different dishes, the uncleared tables, the dirty floor, a TV blaring as well as music from other speakers, and waiters who had to be asked, almost begged, for silverware for all four of us.
Definitely a local favorite! Its a 7 minute drive from the main hotel strip. We ordered for pick up as there’s no delivery. As we pulled up the place was packed and not with travelers but home town people. We ordered the Margarita pizza with ham and a plain cheese. The margarita was filled with delicious flavors. The crust was unbelievably good. Worth picking up so much better than your chain pizza places like Dominos or Papa Johns.
I grew up in NY. Pizzerias styled like this one are hard to come by. 8,6,2 year old, wife and myself really enjoyed the food and hospitality while dining in. If in the area for the NC zoo again we will definitely be adding this place again before we leave.
Great pizza every time. Tony and his staff do a great job. Very good lunch time pizza and Italian specials. Also have dinner specials as well. Very consistent food. We'll differently be back.
This place has the best wings. The people working here are awsome and always so kind . The pizza is great too. They will make what ever you want. Great place to have a meal.
I ordered a pizza togo here, apparently a lady brought her food back because it was wrong, they tried to give it to me .

The restaurant isn't much to look at but the customer service and authentic pizza makes up for it. I have never had a bad experience here. Everything I have ordered has been delicious. If Im in Asheboro, I will drive out of the way for a slice from Time Square.
My husband and I went to Times Square Pizzeria on a Friday night based on TA reviews and were not sorry. We got the medium 2 topping special that included garlic knots and drinks and it was more than enough food. The pizza was not the best we ever had (I like my crust baked a bit more) but it was hit with tasty toppings and still hit the spot. For us the standout was how friendly and helpful everyone was. The entire staff seems willing to do anything to make your food the way you like it and to make your visit a good one. If we lived in Asheboro we would definitely patronize this restaurant.
Chicken and sausage is great. A salad to go it makes for a delicious meal. The special includes garlic knots just in case you're still hungry.
When I ordered my pizza I shared memories of the pizza I had in Naples. Even the owner knew I was in for a disappointment if I was comparing his to Naples. This lace does not have a Brick oven so he was right, but the pizza is good and salads fresh.
My Apple Watch said that I had walked almost 7 complete miles at the NC Zoo Sunday. I went straight to the Hampton Inn in Asheboro and while checking in asked where I should go for some pizza and a beer. I just had a hankering for that. The clerk told me that her preferences was the Times Square Pizza. GPS said 7 minutes just off of the main downtown intersection. The atmosphere is best described as "spare." This the kind of place where you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I was given 47, but there was only one other table taken. They have a variety of Italian dishes, but I was there for pizza. They offer pizza by the slice--they have cheese pizzas ready, just add the toppings you want and back into the oven they go. The pizza as the name of the place suggests is a NYC style thin crust although they offer other styles. On my right, I spotted four taps from Stella to a bock amber, which is what I chose. The pizza was good, two slices stuffed me, and the beer was good. Great ending to a fun day. Servers were happy and attentive, place is clean and neat. I would go back and try something different on the menu.
