Had lunch there last Saturday (23 Jan). The place was fantastic, great food, great views, and great service. The young lady doing the cooking was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Next time I'm out that way I plan to stop by and have a meal. Also Don's needs to be added to your bucket list. It's a must do stop before you pass on.
Right next to the Morris Ferry, for those headed to North Core Banks. This “mom & pop” old school diner is right on the Core Sound and staffed and frequented by friendly locals. The burgers are juicy, flavorful and fresh. Everything is made to order, hot and fresh. My husband and I are here twice during our week-long visit Down East. Out of the way and off the beaten path, this little diner is full of southern hospitality and charm. Great prices, but please expect slightly slow service as they have a small staff. Let me be clear though, the service is excellent, just dont be in a rush. If you're looking to relax and enjoy a great meal with a great view, come check them out.
