Me and my family all went for dinner and it was AMAZING!!! We had about 6-10 meals and they were so fast and very kind !!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The girl that checked us out was so nice and so helpful!! 10/10 recommend will be eating here often!!! Amazing food

Been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally did. So glad I did. Food was excellent and plentiful and you will not get a meal and these prices anywhere. Service excellent and willing to go out of their way for you.

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat lunch on our way to the Aurora Fossil Museum. We found Frank and Shirleys on Tripadvisor and decided to stop by for a bite to eat. This restaurant is located in the same building as a Dollar General. I guess I was looking for a standalone building and missed it as we approached. No big deal, just a quick turn around and we were there. You can usually get a quick impression of a restaurant by the number of cars in the lot. Frank and Shirley’s was hopping both with parked cars as well as the line at the drive through. You can tell that it’s very popular with the locals. There were quite a few employees from the local phosphate mine there as well as some of the community service members (EMTs/Firemen). The service/staff was great, and we were seated quickly. I noted to my wife that they had a lot of staff for a smaller restaurant and everyone was busy. I was impressed by the number of items on the menu, lots and lots of specials from which to choose. The list of sides had plenty of vegetables. There was your standard diner fair of burgers and hot dogs. My wife and I both settled on the baby flounder filet. Hush puppies were brought to our table while we waited. The food was quite good, and the price was great. My wife couldn’t finish all that was on her plate. I’m really glad that we found this restaurant. Whenever we get back to Aurora it will be high on our list of places to eat.

We had lunch recently here. Wasn't expecting much in a small town in a rural setting. Boy were we surprised. The food was great, service very good and a really pleasant and helpful staff.

Pleasantly surprised definitely the place been around since 1976 definitely be doing something right. Frank and Shirley’s has a lot of character, home town feel and great food at reasonable prices. Place was clean, staff was real friendly service was great. They have daily specials we opted for a couple of them double cheeseburger, Country style steak and a soft shell crab plate. Both came out fast and delicious with no complaints from anybody in our party. Not very many restaurants in the area but I am sure glad we stopped at this one, this is where the locals go and where you wanna go.
