We loved The Gamekeeper. Courtesy Valet Parking was a plus! The entire experience was lovely. We had a wonderful table with a bench seat covered in pillows. Perfect for those on the shorter stature. Twinkling lights and impressive wildlife adorn the walls and beams. Tonya was our server and loved her. She was very helpful and attentive. We started with a glass of wine. The food was great. The swamp bites (gator) were excellent and not overcooked or chewy like some places. The gumbo was pretty good, too. I will say this: It is a resort area, so expect it to be a little pricey, especially with drinks, but I'm not disappointed.
Today we visited Bayou Banner Elk. The food was really good. The service from Vic and Blake was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good and seasoned with love. The atmosphere was inviting. Mutlpe TV, amazing outdoor arra and bar. Great place to grab bite to eat and hang with friends. I would definitely recommend.
