Such a cute little ice cream shop. We had a bunch of different flavors (cookiejar, chocolate moose tracks, peanut butter cup, and something else). To make a long story short…the ice cream was super yummy and the flavors were so unique! Totally recommend.PS. Our dogs loved the french vanilla! Who ever served us was super nice and allowed us to bring in our dogs briefly so we could choose what flavors we wanted.

Took my family of five to get an after -dinner treat. We walked in at 7:53. Lady was cleaning tables and trying to stack chairs when we walked in and continued to clean. We stood at the counter waiting for a few more minutes. I then asked if she was the only person working, and she said yes.I then asked if she was mad at us for coming in ten minutes before they were closing. She said no but continues to clean and then turned the OPEN sign off at 7:55. After waiting another 3 minutes for her to finish cleaning, we just left. She then locked the door behind us as another group tried to enter (still before 8:00 when they are supposed to close).Terrible customer service!!!

Great ice cream, no bathrooms but they are next door at the arcade. Smells yummy like waffle cones inside ! Stand in line only; minimal seating inside but lots of seating areas nearby at the shopping center area.

Great little ice cream shop in Banner Elk! The ice cream is delicious and the waffle cones are amazeballs! Will definitely be back!
We came here with my friend and their family for a Labor Day trip.On Saturday, the ladies here treated us with respect and gave us the free scoop if we found the golden spoon.The next day, it was a different story. It was very busy and the line was long. So my toddler was fussy and tapped the glass window. The lady who was getting ice cream for the customer in front of us gave us a mean stare. When it was our turn she didn’t even greet or say anything to us. So instead of holding the line for for their golden spoon we just paid and left. (The lady that rung us up on their system didn’t say anything so we just look at how much we owe them put our card in and left without my receipt).Not sure if she had a bad day since it was busy. But it shouldn’t be an excuse. 5 stars for Saturday & 3 stars for Sunday.

i have been going to the sugar mountain ice cream shop and they are absolutely fabulous. they give you huge amounts of ice cream and not very expensive. since i found out they are closed today i went to the be ice cream shop. the prices are much higher and you get a lot less ice cream. for example, i ordered an $8.50 hot fudge sundae. it was much smaller than the other shop and i received a small cup of hot fudge on the side (as i asked for on the side,) but it was so little fudge , it would've covered a small ice cream never mind and $8.50 ice cream,, very disappointed

Great place. Highly recommend. They make their own waffle cones so it always smells delicious. The ladies are always patient with my 2 boys they are learning how to properly order. This is one of our spots!
