The food was amazing! The service was terrible. The bar tender looked annoyed the entire time. There were 3 servers and only one of them would bus tables and act as a hostess. We would have gotten something sweet to take home but we were never asked. We had to ask for refills when the cups were clearly empty. Servers could make good money if they would just turn their tables. The amount of time they wasted going to the back without clearing tables or bringing refills was wild....
We come here every year during our stay in banner elk, we keep coming back if that says anything. Never had a complaint with the food. Aside from the occasional busy night, service is always fast and friendly. We'll keep coming back every year.
We are traveling from Georgia for the holiday. Stopped by for a bite to eat. Scrutiny was great, with overly large portions. Price was not bad either. It was so good that my picky grandson asked to go back the next day! The staff even remembered us! Check it out of you are ever in banner elk, nc
