Abysmal, used to be good, beyond tacky art/decor, drinks ok, noisy even without live music,
tomato bread too much garlic, carpaccio scant,
Tuna sushi special mushy, one person liked the yum yum shrimp, service meh, RB open face was
gloppy and a mess with gray tasteless meat, just was unbearably pretentious.
All in all VERY disappointing, crowd must have palates of stone.
If you are a foodie STAY AWAY, if not, join the rabble by all means...
Even the Chef's Table has become a food mill.
Sad like so many others post covid.

When I made the reservation, I requested the back room at the Chefs Table. It was a birthday party and a few people in the group don’t hear well. (We came the previous year as part of our annual family reunion and had a fabulous experience). This back room really helps with noise and birthday celebrations. We aren’t a noisy group. We were all very dressed up and when you buy expensive food and wine with a few gifts exchanged, the extra privacy was nice.
I called twice to confirm and both times the Chefs Table confirmed. So we were shocked when we arrived and another party had taken the back room. They were holding menus so obviously weren’t going to be leaving soon. My husband went back to the maitre d and we were seated in a fairly private room downstairs but clearly not as nice as the room in the Chefs Table. And then it just went down hill. Probably because the servers down stairs weren’t expecting us. We got menus but it took almost 30 minutes to even get a drink order. One of the managers then caught on and the service greatly improved. It was part of my birthday celebration and I was seconds from walking out. Dominoes pizza and wine at home was starting to feel better. The food was mostly very good except for tough pork chops. However, we were all very disappointed that the evening didn’t turn out as planned. And seriously doubt that we will return next year for a special celebration dinner.

7:00 reservation and we were seated quickly, I had the wedge salad and carpaccio for my meal as I was not super hungry. The wedge salad was excellent. I make carpaccio myself, and the flavor was good, but the serving size was a letdown.

My wife who is gluten free was happy to order her new favorite GF beer and a gluten-free prime rib sandwich. It was labeled that way on the menu and we double-checked with the waiter. After she began eating, she was questioning if it is really GF. Waiter came over and confirmed it was NOT. They took it back and brought back the meat that would be on the sandwich. Thank goodness she does not have Celiac disease, but are vacationing in the area and this presents problems.

Bottom line. Do NOT trust this restaurant if you have dietary restrictions.

Dietary restrictions: Not to be trusted.

Food was superb. Drinks were great. Bananas Fosters Flambe and Cherries Jubilee Flambe as well as the Brownie ice cream Fambe for dessert were unbelievable. Basically, they KNOCK IT OUT OF THE BALLPARK ON ALL ASPECTS. THE RAINS

Can't wait to come back. We were killing time in Banner Elk and sat at the bar on Saturday night. Enjoyed wonderful music and drinks. Tried the Roasted Sweet Pepper Appetizer. A house salad and the seabass. We watched multiple tableside desserts and coffees be made.

I've been here twice with my family, and I wasn't disappointed. This Is a very formal restaurant and the employees and staff always male sure you are having the best dining experience. We weren't rushed, and I'm not lying when I say that the food was the BEST by far I've ever eaten in my life. Don't even get me started on the desserts. They put on an entire show in the restaurant while they make you dessert, so if you grab dinner here one night, make sure you get a dessert because you won't forget your experience. The desserts and food is just something out of this world and I strongly recommend this place especially if your have a special occasion its a really fun time!

Fine dining - depending on your definition. We booked a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday on a Saturday evening. The menu looked fantastic so we were excited to try it. We arrived about 15 min early, but then waited quite a while past our reservation time for a table. Meanwhile, we sat in the lobby and could hear their live singer, along with a quite rowdy crowd. Don't get me wrong - the singer is quite talented. But the others participating in the drunk singalong? not so much. It was too loud in the lobby to hear conversation and it would have been impossible to enjoy our meal as a family in the wedding-reception-with-people-we-don't-know vibe. After the long wait for our table, we asked the hostess to please seat us in Sorrento's which she did (it was almost 9pm before we got drinks.) Grateful for the Italian comfort food but it was not the fine dining experience I had hoped for on my husband's birthday.

Was so disappointed with this place. First we were sat outside the restaurant in a walkway to the patio upstairs overlooking the downstairs waiting area, lots of loud kids, which that’s not the kids fault but we went to a nice restaurant and wanted to experience that atmosphere. They did move us after we asked but sadly our meal was very disappointing. I had the Salmon and my Husband the Filet and we both had the Chopped salad which was the best thing we had. Got my husband’s order incorrect, and his steak was well past medium rare. My salmon was dry and chewy with no flavor and the mashed potato’s were also nothing but that potato. For the $ there’s way better dining options in the area. They advertise upscale and the food does not match. Service was subpar.

I need more stars for the service. The great service made the entire experience awesome. William was amazing he was friendly and he continued to check and see if we needed anything. The crab cake was delicious just right and the portion was enough that I was full eating an
