Delicious and quick! Just go in and order food! We got fried rice, beef and broccoli and shrimp with vegetables. The food was flavorful and not oily. The vegetables were fresh! Nothing was overcooked. I highly recommend this spot for takeout! Very satisfied!

I ordered the general TSO’s chicken for supper, and it appeared to be warmed up leftovers from the lunch buffet. Some of the chicken was piping hot some of it was barely warm, so they didn’t even thoroughly warm it all up. It probably would’ve been really good if it was fresh General Tso’s chicken.

China House is a gem of a Chinese restaurant. Despite its small size, the place is impeccably clean and welcoming. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the portions were more than generous. I had the soup, chicken with mixed vegetables, and beef with mixed vegetables, all of which were absolutely delicious. My kids devoured their shrimp fried rice and couldn't stop raving about it. If you're in the mood for authentic and mouthwatering Chinese cuisine served in a cozy atmosphere, China House is the place to be.

A year ago this restaurant was rated 96 and yesterday when I walked in, I was astonished!!! The place was a disaster, employees seemed overworked, and overwhelmed. Food looked poorly and the rating was 86 (may have been 87). Which is a TERRIBLE rating for a restaurant. I decided to drive to Boone to order elsewhere.

I wish I would’ve gotten photos of how absolutely dirty and disgusting this place was.The “Buffett” is literally only like 10 items so if you’re looking for a true Buffett this isn’t it.The floors looked like they had never been mopped. Nothing was clean. Not a single surface in this place.The tables were sticky and gross.We were desperate for food so we ate here but honestly I have no idea how the health inspectors have not shut this place down.The food was not good at all.Just an overall terrible experience.Go over to food lion and grab some frozen Chinese food and it’ll taste exactly the sameBut at least can be cooked in a clean environment
