I came here in January this year with a friend and I ordered the best coffee I have ever had. Truly. I think about it all the time and nothing I’ve had since has compared to it. I don’t remember what exactly it was but it was perfect and we will be back this next January.
Does anyone know if the owners are ok? Great coffee and pumpkin creme roll!!! Will visit again when we return. I stopped here two days before Helene’s flood waters hit. I hope and pray everyone is ok.

Lee Loo and I really miss you all. She loves your pup cup and we both enjoy people watching on at the cafe’ tables set up outside. Nothing better than your hot chocolate in the fall. See you again soon!

Good coffee but overpriced
New resident of Sugar Mountain and happy to see a local coffee place Fred & Larry’s. We spend a lot of time getting paint next door but can’t count on F&L being open during their regular hours. (BTW-what coffee shop opens at 8:30am? Morning people drink coffee). The service is a joke, hours are arbitrary and someone always smoking out front. Safe the hassle and go down the road to Mountain Grounds where there is true coffee shop service.

Their Sumatra blend coffee is great, and their lattes too. I will say their prices have crept up I’m sure to keep up with the high costs of doing business, but we still like to support local when we can!

Nice outdoor seats, decent coffee, a bit pricey however. A little awkward to pay, they take your card and ask you how much you would like to leave as a tip..

Everyone who works here is so sweet! I’m absolutely obsessed with their caramel iced coffee, truly the best coffee. I live in CT and no where around me is this good!
I have celiac disease and i mentioned a gluten allergy my first time going and the girl at the counter understood and explained to me that all their flavors are GF. I grabbed a couple GF muffins the other day too, a blueberry and a cream cheese cinnamon one. I’m not a fan of blueberry muffins at all but these are to die for. The GF muffins taste like a regular one and they’re soft, don’t fall apart, and delicious.
Couldn’t recommend this place more

First time checking this place out today. It’s like a dark cave . It takes a couple seconds to take it all in . Very quite . The service was kind of cold . The menu was not easy to understand: no prices , written in chalk . Ordered an americano and I had to spit it out ! Blazing Hot ! Could barely hold even with a sleeve. Asked for ice , and the machine was broken . To which I think , good thing I didn’t want an iced drink . So I said ok just kinda left . ..I’m sorry , but when I order a hot drink , I’d like to drink it , not wait an hour . Then the taste is off …

Went here a couple of times, oredered black dripped coffee once and it was bitter and tasted burnt. Went second time to give it a second chance and oredered a Cappuchino, thought that maybe with milk the coffee wont taste as bad... I was wrong, same burnt coffee taste, couldnt even finish my cup. Bad quality coffee and overpriced.
