We had the best experience at LP on Main in Banner Elk. The amazing staff answered all my questions about the menu. We started with specialty cocktails and the most delicious oysters and shrimp cocktail. Everyone enjoyed their meals, I tried and loved the hanger steak and the scallops. We finished the evening with a delightfully warm sticky toffee. They offer an extensive wine list and are helpful with pairing suggestions - we even picked up a wine to take home from a lovely in house curated selection. The beautiful decor and fine art complemented the relaxing atmosphere. We will be back soon!

I decided to go all out and try their famous Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf, and let me tell you, it was an absolute game-changer! The flavors were rich, the portion sizes generous, and the presentation was on point.

Had the bison burger. asked for no bun and was told the chef does not allow modifications. my burger was drenched with aoili and the carmilized onions and the meat were so greasy. husband had a salad with no protein for $15 wow and was over dressed with dressing. wouldn't allow for dressing on the side. then we were charged a dual pricing to help cover the extra tax the owners pay for being in downtown Banner Elk. sorry won't be back.

Worst meal in Banner Elk. Cocktails are bland and served with chipped ice for $20 a piece. Quail was overcooked or left unattended under a heat lamp. Beef short rib was covered in non-seasoned collar greens. Waitress was mostly absent. Very snooty. Not much reason why. Avoid. $170 for 2.
