Hello friends… Wanted to share that we had the perfect setup for a fabulous family rehearsal dinner and extended party afterwards at this Party Barn. The amenities, including their very updated and clean kitchen, sep Bar area, large dining table… (we had 16 seated), private side room, an upstairs area with games and seating… fab speaker system for music, TV above bar (we forgot to stream pics!) Outside fire pit and tables… We had corn hole and this place rocking! We absolutely are thrilled we had it here!!. We contracted with Reids Catering and they provided with the building’s kitchen and dishes, etc. a fabulous spread for everyone throughout the evening. Due to the weather, we did not use the inside fire place, but I could see how that would be a perfect setting on a chilly night. The staff here were fantastic and very accommodating to work with (thank u Whitney!). Check it out!

This place is amazing! Coming from NYC, it’s often hard to find top notch restaurants when traveling. The Party Barn, however, is a real gem and absolutely measured up with some of the best places I’ve experienced. Chef Will is a magician and the atmosphere is second to none. If you’re anywhere in the area you have to go here!

Chef Will brings a creative flair to our area with his one of one style of culinary art. Alongside, Chef Brady compliments the overall experience. They work effortlessly as a team with a personalized feeling of attention to each and every detail. Visually aesthetic and an awaking of all your senses. I greatly admire their efforts to support local growers and farmers who supply the best products in our region. In addition, Stephenie the Party Barn manager brings a smiling face and a warm welcome every time you arrive to the venue. Need a good wine pairing suggestion for your five course dinner, she’s got you covered! With her countless years of experience in the hospitality industry, she brings fresh ideas with a well rounded professional touch. The Party Barn team works harmoniously to put together not only small intimate dinners for just a few friends and or family but also larger events of any type. The Barn however was not just built overnight, it was built with a mission! The mission is simple, support Avery County. When Mr. Jim Ward decided to buy a summer home in the High Country of North Carolina, everything changed. The barn slowly developed into being a location for not only his friends and family to gather and dine but a place to bring together our community. The proceeds and growth of the Party Barn will continue to assist in helping the people, the animals and much more in Avery County. Many people visit our area and would never think it is one of the most poverty-stricken areas in North Carolina. After seeing the need, The High Country Charitable Foundation was born! The charity would not operate without the hard-working efforts of the current board members as well as previous board members. Again, as a native to the area, I have seen many things come and go. The goal is clear, do good things and from good things even better will things evolve. This is a space and a mission that I am honored to be a part of!
