If you are in the Valle Crucis area you need to go here. Great little spot for kids to play and run around. Good beer and a little store with drinks and snacks that are not expensive. Live music, two horses that are friendly, and super cute and friendly goats. We make a stop here daily when staying in Valle Crucis or Blowing Rock. And of course beer and wine.

Such a cool spot. Bartender was extremely friendly, gave good recommendations, and let us feed the horses. Will definitely be back this summer

It's a beer garden they serve wine mostly and a little bit of beer I think they had some coors not really for me but my wife loves wine so she loved this place , not sure about food .

This place is mainly for drinks, they have a variety of light snacks and some refrigerated sandwiches. Two Sweet horses out back you can pet. Great place to relax and have a beer or two or glass of wine.

A Magical Mountain Getaway From Charlotte and Charleston! My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where we had the most magical stay at The Mast Farm Inn! This town and the Inn are out of a Hallmark Movie! It was the perfect escape from Charleston and Charlotte. A close drive surrounded by stunning mountains, farm animals, quaint restaurants and shops! The cabin was very clean and cozy! The staff went above and beyond for us while we celebrated my birthday!

I did not stay here. I also never leave reviews but I feel the need to express this. I brought my girlfriend for our anniversary tonight. Our dinner was really disappointing. We had clam chowder which was fair for the first course. The main course was chicken parm. It was obviously bulk frozen breaded chicken. The breading was soggy similar to a public school lunch. Dessert was huckleberry pie, I figured you can’t go wrong with pie. The fruit was bland and obviously had been frozen. The only enjoyable part was the ice cream. I wanted to go here because it was place no one I knew had tried. I would go out of my way to tell people not to eat here.

There isn’t much in downtown VC so to have a cozy place with beer, wine, snacks, seating, cornhole, and a little garden and horses for some atmosphere - sign me up!

Great farm to table food. Great atmosphere . Adorable bed and breakfast with little cabins to rent as well. Picture perfect location!

I would call ahead we drove to check out the new Valle Tavern only to be told they were closing due to chance of rain? It has a covered area. They tell us to walk across the street to the Inn they have a new bar and serve food and then there was no one to wait on you

June 26, my birthday. A solo and sad birthday for me. I see this place on my way to Over Yonder and think how happy I am for it. I go to O Y and it’s packed, so I go back here. I’m excited for the cool place, I seated myself and asked the folks if I had to order or a waitperson. They said a waitress will come to me. So I waited, she took the people’s order in front of me, a party of 5, 2 parties of 2 and she finally came over and told me that I could order at the bar. I said that it was hard because I had my dog. She said “ok, I will be back after I take care of these people”. I should have left then- it was an hour. She finally shows up after taking more orders and gets mine- is rude about my Frenchie. I should have left, but it’s a cool place and I had just ordered (finally). I see food coming out for people that ordered after me. She finally brings my tea. I wait, and wait, then decided that after 2 hours of no food, the worst service ever that I would leave. I wish I was exaggerating! My heart is broken over a recent loss and I am taking time to heal. It was my Birthday and I was looking for a nice place with nice people. This was an unfortunate experience. The place is very nice but as a former server, restaurant manager and trainer- the volume of the 8-10 tables was not that busy to be completely ignored. Yes, I will go back but the next time, I will not put up with this kind of service. Sorry for long review but this place needs to fix this. I ended up at Over Yonder- great food and service there.
