We could not have been more pleased with Currituck BBQ and the service they provided for our wedding. Our guests have been raving about the food since - especially the hush puppies! Several of our guests approached us after the wedding to let us know that the employees of Currituck were so personable and kind. It was wonderful to have a full service caterer that took care of everything - plates, cups, drinks, napkins, clean up, set up, and all of the food. And such a reasonable price! We can not recommend Currituck enough. We now have several guests who will be making a stop on the way down to the OBX on their next vacation! Thank you!

Easily one of my favorite barbecue. I tried to stop there virtually anytime I am headed to or from the Outer Banks. Prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. Extra points for awesome hush puppies! They have expanded over the years but still maintain a really cool vibe.
You can buy their barbecue by the pound and take it to the beach!

Really mediocre barbeque. Barely any smoke on the ribs and the pulled pork managed to be watery and dry at the same time. Clearly overshot on temperature. Hush puppies were good, service was good, just had higher hopes for Carolina bbq

She is one amazing worker who loves what she does for sure and clearly a team player and works hard! You don’t get that much customer service that great these days anymore!! She definitely earns a raise for sure!! Nita just for that I’ll be definitely looking into this place to cater my wedding for the experience I had today with Nita’s hospitality and the food ❤️? I had a delicious pork BBQ sandwich with coleslaw. Yummy. My hubby had the beef brisket. He thought it was good although prefer a bit more smoky flavor. Still would recommend the restaurant. Quick service, indoor seating. Pleasant young man behind the counter. Excellent lunch stop.

Stopped in on a Friday for dinner. Nice selection of food and really awesome service. The banana pudding and hush puppies were both delicious and everyone I was with enjoyed their barbecue. They were sold out of burnt ends sadly but we will definitely try again.
