We had large shrimpburgers, their Hushpuppies (best I’ve ever had) and fried okra on a Monday lunch. Excellent (not heavy batter on shrimp) and great service. Highly recommend lunch.
Charlie's is a nice friendly "everyone knows everyone" atmosphere. Even if you come in as a first timer, you will feel welcomed. The specials are always goods and the sides are great! The food has that "home cooked" flavor".
Dietary restrictions: If you can't tell by the menu, just ask. The staff is wonderful!

The food is excellent, no matter what you get. The clam straps were the best I have ever eaten out anywhere! Cooked to perfection, crispy but very tender.
Parking: Plenty of parking, even with pulling a lg closed in trailer.
