Last year it was great, no idea what happened but service was nonexistent….food was not even mediocre. They point out on the menu crab cakes have filler…but they should also have crab, mashed potatoes were instant and gritty, baked apples were good but everything was also barely room temp. Never got refills on drinks…not going back, I will spend my money elsewhere.

We all were very pleased with our visit to Mayo's. After spending 3 days in New Bern we were looking for a new experience. And we're so glad we did.
This was my third time tasting Shrimp and Grits, and I must say that this one was possibly the best. Paired it with the fried okra.....yumm And don't ask how the hush puppies are. Fantastic!
The salmon, blackened shrimp and bisque also got good marks.
