I’ve always loved the lunchtime salad bar here, but dinner on Saturday completely blew me away. The Butter Chicken was unreal— delicious sauce, tender chicken, fluffy rice, and flavorful naan. I’ve always loved Indian food and have honestly been sad we didn’t have any nearby, so my full stomach and I are feeling incredibly lucky that the new owner and chef have come to Belhaven and brought this dish with them. Do yourself a favor and order it. You will NOT be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PS the Garlic Parmesan wings were also tasty (and huge!) but that Butter Chicken… just wow!

Eating here is a treat for me and my wife. My waitress was excellent but my food was a disappointment. After tip I spent $50 only to stop on my way home to get a sandwich. My dinner wasn't very hot and taste was marginal. I offered my criticisms to cashier and I expected more of an apology than what I received. I now have a sour taste from fish hooks which will dictate my future patronage. Customer satisfaction and an effort to make things right truly was avoided. Table across from me a teenage boy had exact same dinner I ordered which he didn't each much of it either. I approached him and asked his opinion of the dish. I apologized to his family for interrupting them. I wanted to ensure that it wasn't just me. Being in a customer service based industry you should go the extra mile to ensure customers happiness. This would guarantee yr customer base doesn't diminish. Curious why u don't answer the negative responses

Loved my dinner! Shrimp, Scallops, Flounder, Crab Cake and fried oysters!!! Oh and don’t forget the creme brûlée and the old fashion! Perfection. Can’t wait to come back.
Had the lunch buffet. If your mom cooked like that, she couldn't cook. Pizza at 7-11 would be a better tasting lunch.

Three of us had dinner and it was fantastic.The hostess greeted us at the door with enthusiasm and humor. Our server , I think her name was Tiffany was very attentive and kept the ice tea and cold beer flowing. Did I say the beer was ice cold! The food was great.Portions are large. Its so great to see a restaurant that takes such obvious pride in its business.

Got some of the best service I have ever gotten from any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Food is delicious. A crab dip and a fried trawler for dinner won’t leave you disappointed. The fried chicken on the lunch and Sunday buffet is better than your mama cooked it. The only issue that comes about here is accessibility due to the tide coming in but that’s just an unavoidable circumstance in Belhaven. Atleast that’s how it used to be before the new owners…

My family came in from out of town and I wanted them to experience Belhaven culture and food. Fish Hooks came through with flying colors. Our server, Amanda, made everyone feel at home with a great personality and attentiveness. Nora, made sure tables were available for our crew and was very gracious to us. They went back to their homes with a love for Belhaven.
Had Butter Chicken Curry last night at Fish Hooks it was absolutely delicious!! Can't wait until they have it again.

I have been going to Fish Hooks for years, ever since it opened. The food has been consistently excellent, I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, staff always attentive and courteous. Belhaven is a small town and Fish Hooks exemplifies the small town friendliness and sense of community. I do not live in Belhaven but we travel there several times a year just to eat at Fish Hooks.

Great food and clean environment. Went there for the Sunday buffet and was not disappointed. The shrimp were amazing and the vegetables were like eating at Grandma’s at Thanksgiving! I’ll definitely be back!
