Good fresh burger and the chili was great! Fried okra was plentiful and will return to try other things.
Out of the way (if you are traveling) but great little shop. Pulled pork is excellent and the fried okra is great. Glad we stopped.

Holy moly if you want some awesome pulled pork barbecue be sure to check out this spot off the beaten path a short couple of miles off of interstate 85 in Belmont North Carolina. This 30 year old family business is one of those gems you find when searching for real authentic barbecue joints. Do yourself a favor and find Buddy’s and enjoy a barbecue sandwich.
The breakfast was delicious, and I bought a pint of chicken salad too. It was great! The staff was excellent. Highly recommend.
Great food and generous portions. Only wish they stayed open longer hours and/or Saturday. Otherwise, well worth stopping and pigging out.

Excellent bbq. Growing up and eating Lexington style barbecue I have to say, this is as good as any you’ll find. Glad I found it, even happier I decided to stop in and try it.
Found this riding down the street. What a pleasant surprise. The hot BBQ sauce was amazing on the chopped BBQ sandwich. The creamy slaw was different but very good. The fries were fresh and hot. I will be back.
Great food and friendly service! I eat lunch here almost everyday. Can't get enough of the vegetable soup and Brunswick stew. I highly recommend this place for both breakfast and lunch!
