I’ve been coming to this place for years back when it was called Friends. I’m not sure if this place is under new ownership but the food has significantly changed and the atmosphere as well. Wing sauce was light with heavy vinegar.

I love the atmosphere of this place but the management has TO GO. I don’t know who she is but the disrespect is unbelievable. Shannon was amazing, I love her but get the management together. I won’t be back. It was my first time and I cannot associate with the energy of the manager. No just no.

As a bar owner Myself, in Charlotte, and I should not have to say this, I literally went into the Bearded Buffalo in Belmont, North Carolina bar and was advised that a bartender said that I told her that I was light headed, ready to “pass out” and needed ice for absolutely no reason and the “owner” “CHAD” approached me and I told me that I had to leave. He literally came to me and said that he was told by one of his workers that I needed ice, and I was lightheaded and hot and whatever and i had to leave the establishment, I’ve never been through this before, and this is the worst experience that I’ve ever had in my life if I could give it a zero, I will confirm that he is nasty, rude, disrespectful, very smart mouthed and he’s a liar and very discriminatory. Even if I had to have needed ice and was hot and had an issue, why would they not have cared or rendered any kind of emergency services???? This is not the first time I’ve heard bad things about that bar. I hate to say it, but he does not like Black people up in there. This is not the first time I’ve ever heard it and I guarantee you it will not be the last. He literally never met me before tonight and he told me that I was barred from his bar. I will be taking actions against him because of his demeaning persona and I also have him on Video. I’ve never asked them for anything not even ice or whatever He’s talking about. As a bar owner to another bar owner, you Sound crazy. He is discriminate and racist, I don’t know what else to say about it. but I do remember that it was the same Girl that was mad that I didn’t give a Tip to because her service was horrid with me and my fiancé the week before while we were watching the game outside. She was barely seen and very unattended. I have zero tolerance for this and I will be contacting my attorneys, I feel like this was discriminatory and racist, and I I want them to pull the camera from the moment I came in . When this bar was Friends, it was so much more respectful. Amen.

Our server was amazing and upbeat. We come for the BLT frequently. So disappointed...a quarter the size, no tomato, and the bread not toasted. Did not complain as the service made up for the food disappointment. Maybe its the tariff affect. 😆

We had lunch at this new Belmont Restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Our order consisted of Nachos W/Chicken, 6 boneless bar-b-cue wings, 6 Mango Habanero wings, 6 Reeper wings and a BLT Sami w/fries. The food was your typical bar food. They had my husband's favorite beer on Legions draft beer, juicy j. We will definitely be going back to try their extensive menu.

Left after 5 mins. Greeted someone at the resteraunt and they just stared at me. Then they laughed when the hostess took my fiend and I to the table? Then the same person walked off mid sentence when my fiend asked a question. No plans on coming back.

Chad has made the Bearded Buffalo the best place in Belmont to grab a drink, shoot some pool, eat lunch or dinner, and hang out with friends. I have gone there for years and Chad has it the best is has ever been!

Chicken salad is delicious. Great beer choices. Friendly server, Charmalle. Great experience.
