Lavaca Mexican Grill was absolutely delicious! We had a great experience from start to finish, and our waitress, Stephanie, was outstanding friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
This is a family owned and operated restaurant, which really shows in the care and hospitality. Their menu is extensive and full of great options. We ordered the quesa birria, and it was both beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The salsa was fantastic as well.
We truly enjoyed our time together and will definitely be back!

Everything on the menu is good!!! My coworkers and I have went to La Vaca twice this week all the food is amazing! We’ve got ACP, cheese dip,elote,guacamole, pupusa,Quesa Birria y chicken burrito y tacos y tortas.

La Vaca is definitely a hidden gem in Gastonia when it comes to food. It has become our favorite place to eat and take our family whenever they’re in town. The food is delicious, and we have yet to try something we didn’t like. I highly recommend the quesabirria, it’s my favorite dish. They have homemade juices, all phenomenal and fresh. The service is outstanding, you truly feel welcomed and served. They’ve definitely lady and gentleman who served us the last couple of times made sure we had everything we needed and refilled our drinks without us needing to ask. They also have great dinner specials! I highly recommend you to try it!

Food was good meats were tasty homemade tortillas were good only issue was the tortillas were slightly cold other than that good food.
Been back multiple times since the first review and this place is awesome. The food is consistently good. The tortillas now are always hot and fresh. The customer service from the time coming in the door is spot on. Edgar is a gem he's very friendly, communicates with all of the customers and is very welcoming. Everytime I come in he's there and always engaging. The true test of if something is good is consistency and his nature and especially the food is worth the trip. Charlotte is lucky to have La Vaca.

Soooooo good Crazy good I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could’ve kept eating I had a camaron tostada, pupusa de chicharron y queso, huarache de asada, chimichanga, and the best of all, taco de lengua. Super tender and tasty 10/10 And we watched Titanic while we ate lol great atomosphere
