Very cool, family friendly brewery right in Belmont. Industrial building with indoor seating with many tables, and then outside patio area too. They have a full food menu (recommend the hot honey pretzels) and a great beer selection. Their beers were good, and it was nice to have wine and seltzers on the menu too. Service was ok, and wish they had something for kids to drink other than soda.

First and last time here. Drove from 40 mins from Rock Hill to attend an event here and was highly disappointed. Sat 30 mins before our waitress came to even speak to us. I had to walk the bar and ask for menus. She has no knowledge of the beer menu and told me I could go to the bat and read them. Finally ordered and she has our order wrong 3 times. Never brought us silverware. Finally another waiter came over and he was amazing . Fixed our orders and took care of us. We waited forever to get our bill. Finally had to go back up the the bar where the waitress was standing and ask for our bill and a box. She absolutely acted like she could care less about us.

Great food though servers were terrible expect the waiter that came in after and fixed all the first waitress messed up had to send all 3 orders back 3 times the 3rd time the waiter was the one who got it correct.

Came in for the pumpalicious pumpkin brew but stayed for the amazing sandwiches !!! I had the veggie caprese and my friend had the 3 way beef! The flavors were on point and I can’t wait to see what Chef Chris brings to the table next time!

We visited Primal yesterday, Oct. 2 and they had a guest chef, Chris Tyrell, and his food was amazing! Primals beer selection was on point and the outdoor area was great! It's dog friendly which is a definite plus. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We recently traveled to Belmont to visit our daughter. We decided to stop in to check out Primal’s beer selection. We are so glad we did! What a great atmosphere to hang out and enjoy some wonderful hand-crafted brews! The staff was amazing! We can’t wait to visit again and try out the food menu as well as join in on the nightly game fun. Til next time 🍻

Favorite brewery in Belmont. Forgot how big the menu is (for a brewery). Lots of options. Rotsiree chicken is a great portion size and absolutely delicious!

Honestly if I could give it zero stars I would. We went at 3pm and maybe 3 tables were in the restaurant and the service was terrible and our wings were so burnt they came out black! I don’t recommend. They also served our food in cold plates and the server was sitting the whole time. Also when we sat at our table and asked for a drink menu the server said just look at the wall and walked away.

Went in this evening and it was seat yourself so we opted for the patio. Everyone was sitting outside and only one table inside was occupied. We waited 10 minutes before a waitress came over. She asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for a menu and she said we would have to go inside to look at what was on tap so we left. We have been here many times and usually it is busier but if this is your service I can see why it was not busy and we will not be back.
