Let me start by saying the positives. The ambiance was great. Quaint place, music at the correct level, awesome service. The negatives are limited menu so please make sure to research that first. And prices weren't all that great compared to the value rendered. Overall I wouldn't come back but I am glad I tried them.

A disappointment to say the least,
The fish special was some sort of cod, it had a bad taste and appeared to be spoiled. When I brought it to the waitresses attention, I was told “sorry to hear that” no manager came to the table, no offer of a replacement, not even taken off the bill, nothing. I was sick throughout the night and notified them the next day. The guy who I spoke to sounded as if he didn’t want to be bothered.
In addition to the being served bad fish, we still left our waitress a 20% cash tip, leaving the credit card tip section on the bill blank. Someone took it upon themselves and assumed that no tip was left and decided to add a tip in on their own. This was Something our credit card company made us aware of when the amount charged didn’t match the amount on the receipt. They need to learn how to deal with customers and address issues and never take it upon themselves and add in a tip on some a credit card. Very poor business skills and lack of customer service.

Would not recommend to anyone. This place isn't family friendly at all. Being in a city like Belmont you should expect children to come to your restaurant. Will never go back, the manager is very rude.
My husband and our friend had a great time. The staff was so informative with the menu. I had the chicken and rice but trust me when I say it was so good, they put their own spin on it. My friend had the duck and DUDE talk about tender, melt in your mouth. 10/10 will go again when i am back in town. This was our one fancy meal and it did not disappoint.

I loved the outside bottle garden. A great atmosphere and a nice place to gather with friends.
Kid-friendliness: The kids were able to play in the relaxed outdoor environment. Able to bring your dog if you’d like.

I love the food and I love the drinks but on multiple occasions the service has been so rude, particularly by the manager, that I will not be coming back.
Love the outdoor patio area for football and the food and drinks are great. Also the bartenders are awesome and keep you well "hydrated."
Fun and unique foods, absolutely incredible overall. One of the best meals I’ve had this year.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food had some highs and lows. The beet tartare, butter chicken, and rabbit rangoon were delectable and we would easily order again. However, the mushroom enchiladas (good but deep flavors that needed lifting) and the hamachi tostada (clean but really flavorless) were in need of some acid (citrus).
Service was ok too. Food was never described, no recommendations, we were never even asked if we had dined there before (we hadn't) so they could tell us about the restaurant. We ordered a bottle of wine and the server simply poured it into each glass - no tasting to make sure it's ok or presentation to make sure it's even the right bottle. I liked this place, I would probably try it again, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Well, I have heard good things about your restaurant and have lived I Gaston Co. for 4 years now. So my family and I left a brewery in Belmont which we have been to many times before where we ate as well. I’m not a fan of the brewery’s food but went because that’s were the fam wanted go. As we were driving into the brewery my wife overshot our regular route but she noticed the back of
your restaurant. She loves eating outdoors. I told what it was and she said we’ll have to try it out something. As we were leaving the brewery I suggest we stop by The Bottle Tree for a drink. So we stopped and went in the ramp entrance on the left side. There was a long line at the outside bar so I went inside to order drinks. When I got inside I saw that all 4 seats at the small bar were empty(strange I thought with the restaurant be fairly full), so I texted my wife and 2 adult kids to come in. It was right after that I was told that I could not sit at the bar and have a drink but that it was only used for “overflow” if they ran out of tables for people to “eat”. Ok, so I asked if I could get a drink to take outside and she said only in a plastic cup. I told her thanks, but I don’t drink whiskey out of anything but a glass. I ask if they had glasses outside and she said no, only plastic. So, as the family was entering the back door to the bar where we could not sit, I told my wife that we were leaving and explained the rest to her in the car. Oh, the girl behind the bar was very “short” with me as well. My wife still wants to try out your restaurant but it will not be with me. Having been in the Marine Corp as a pilot for 20 year and a major airline pilot for 18years(some over lap there) I obvious have done some traveling. But never have I been to a bar I could not sit down at and have a drink. Unbelievable!
Great food! Great cocktails! Next time I’m there in Belmont, I’m definitely eating here!

All I can say is do not eat the “garden” menu. Completely disgusting and overpriced. They serve Tyson chicken and cut it in half as their chicken sandwich. Completely unacceptable.

Not impressed with anything. Service was good. Food was overpriced and wine list was poor selection. Customers came in dressed like going to a backyard bbq. No atmosphere and the only person who spoke to us was our waitress. We were greeted with, do you have a reservation? The place had empty tables when we left. Second time there. Won’t be back.
