Ok, we've been meaning to try Top Taste for awhile and finally stopped by; now I'm mad we didn't go earlier!! It was so, so good! My husband got jerk chicken, peas and rice, and Mac n cheese, and I got curry chicken, plantains, and Mac n cheese. Everything was so delicious. Everything. We also got two of the fresh juices, the pineapple/ginger and the watermelon/ginger and we really enjoyed them, as well .And the food was still piping hot when we got home. We will definitely be back soon!!

The food was absolutely amazing! This was my first time eating here! I got the Curry Chicken, Mac&Cheese, Rice&Peas, and Cabbage…I almost forgot the Pineapple juice??The food was seasoned and the portions she gave was a lot! Chin was amazing and greeted us as soon as we walked in! She told us what was good and fixed the best plate with lots of food….two people could share one plate or you wools have more than enough for the next day! Worth every dime! I definitely will be back!

Saved me tonight when everything washed closed or too busy afternoon the hurricane. Oxtail was phenomenal and I eat a lot of oxtail. Kero chicken was even better. Sides were good enough but the meats were incredible. Very nice staff.
The food lacked flavor. The price doesn't equal the quality. TRASH Jerk chicken was dry & spicy, collards were okay,lemon pepper wings were plain, plantains weren't sweet, the mac cheese was good.This was a waste of money, I won't be returning.

Four is us stopped in to Top Taste Grill for the first time today. Summary: excellent food and wonderful staff! TLDR: between us all we got the jerk chicken, smoked ribs, ox tail, & chicken curry, with collard greens, fried plantains, mac 'n cheese sides. The collard greens were delicious, the fried plantains done perfectly, and the mac 'n cheese like we made it at home. The staff was engaging, upbeat and fun! Definitely a very worthwhile eatery!
Tiny little shop on the side of Wilkinson Blvd in Belmont. If you're not paying attention, you might miss it. But that would be a huge mistake. Only a few seats, but take-out is fast and ready!
The food was pure bliss. We had Oxtail, Smoked Ribs, Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Mac 'n' Cheese, Collard Greens, Fried Plantains and Cornbread. I was in the Charlotte area for five days and this was the best food I had during my visit.
Service was fantastic, I kept wanting to order more and had to stop myself!
Can't recommend highly enough. If you're nearby and need some real food, you've got to try this place.
