We just moved here and haven’t had a pizza night in a while. I saw they had grandma style pizza… if you’re used to a good grandma style, don’t come here. We got home and open the box to a round pizza, red sauce and like 6 melted pieces of mozzarella… we called back thinking they gave us the wrong pizza for them to tell us that this is their grandma pizza. This is not a grandma pizza at all. No parm and cheese isn’t supposed to go over the sauce. It really didn’t taste good either. For us to spend an extra $8 to upgrade to a grandma this is BAD!!!

So y’all, this atmosphere was terrible. We lived here for over 20 years and never ate here. Well, tonight I know Why. Had total of 6 people in our party. Only ones in restaurant. My husband ordered dozen chicken wings. Rest of us ordered pasta. We all got our food first. My husband didn’t get his wings. We were halfway done and waiter finally come out and said it would be another 7 mins on wings. He said man the table is almost done just bag them to go. While eating the workers were sweeping and mopping the floors with lemon Lysol. All while we’re eating. The worse smell ever in a small building while trying to eat. Then we got the bill. It was over 120.00 for 6 people. Me and a friend got spaghetti carbonara with tortillines but wasn’t told there was an up charge of 5.00 a plate. So they removed the 10.00 up charge due to us complaining but then they charged 5.20For Alfredo sauce when it was already an Alfredo dish. This was the most ridiculous thing ever. Worst experience ever but the food was good. If you eat here get it to go. Don’t waste your time eating in.

Call before/if you go. Drove 35 min to benson. Arrived at 1230. Location was closed with a traffic cone in front of door. We walked around benson for an hour. Came back. Nobody ever opened despite location stating it was going to be open etc. Would of liked to try some of the food but. Guess not. Pretty lame.

We stopped in mid afternoon to order 5 pizzas for pick-up later. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We returned to pick up our pizzas, and 1 had been missed. They quickly fixed the situation. We drove 20 min home to eat the pizza, and it was delicious. We ordered a supreme pepperoni, cheese no sauce, a hawaiian with jalapeños and 1 custom. The crust is thin, slices are big, and toppings were fresh. All around, good pizza great service!

Showed up 45 minutes before the restaurant closed to locked doors and employees inside cleaning. Nobody even looked up to acknowledge us at the door to bother saying we closed early. Heard they weren't very profitable lately, maybe it's the mediocre food or the rude staff but it's also possibly closing almost an hour early out of laziness.
Big disappointment. Arrived for an early dinner mid-week. There were three staff members, one being outside on bench smoking. We were seated quickly. Ordered drinks and got them in a timely manner. Ordered food and waited a reasonable amount of time. My pasta dish came with a lot of oil surrounding the noodles. It was tasty but had too much oil to finish. My companion ordered ravioli with meat sauce. She said the sauce was tasteless and the raviolis were too thick. The noodles should be delicate. The only good thing about it was it was hot . The service was lacking as well. Waitress never came by to refill drinks and when we were ready for our check not one staff member came over to assist. It’s such a shame because Benson really needs more restaurant options. Now that I’ve tried eating inside I can say I will not make that mistake again. I will only order pizza to go from now on.

The menu includes many Italian dishes, and some of the neighboring platters looked good. We tried the pizza, and it was good, but average good. Bread with vinegar & olive oil comes as a complimentary appetizer. The bread quality was disappointing, a bit gummy or undercooked. The pizza was cooked to a pleasant golden crisp on the edges. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We will try something different next time.

People always make comments about how they’re envious of the life that dogs live.I used to feel that way until we ate at Anthony’s last night and felt bad for dogs because they’ll never know how truly incredible a meal from here tastes. We are new to the area and what a find this place is. It’s worth the trip. I promise. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu
