My first time here and I ordered Eggdrop/Wonton soap and an egg roll. The soup: the eggdrop was ok and wontons were awful and the meat looked like dog sh$& so I didn’t eat them. The egg roll was weird, mushy and greasy! I can’t believe how bad this place is on something so simple. Never Again!

Staff is nice enough but the food is awful!! LoMein and fried rice had a funny taste. Sweet and sour pork was just ok. Shrimp roll had 1 shrimp in it. I hope we don't get sick!!!!
Will go elsewhere from now on even if it's 20 miles away!!!

So, I used a paper menu I took the last time I picked up food at China Star (Food Lion shopping center Hwy 210) to order a take out lunch special. When I got there it was more than I thought it was going to be. I checked out the new paper menu and saw that EVERYTHING has gone up in price. Lunch was $8.50, now is $9.25. I just can't. They don't even offer an eggroll like most Chinese take outs do.

Best Chinese food. Had a great place in Ohio. Went to Fayetteville. Not the same. Came to Benson, I love it. So good!!
TERRIBLE egg drop soup was oily and orange. Generals chicken had no flavor. Chicken chow mein had an odd flavor I can't even explain. The only thing good was my spring rolls. My husband's eggroll was triple deep fried and nasty. Not ever going back. Don't waste your money. Sorry we wasted ours.

So this place USED to be our favorite place to pick up Chinese not anymore. There was a time that they forgot to give us our rice order and still charged us. Our mistake we did not check while we were there but they had never messed up on our orders. I called and let them know and they said that in our next order they can just give us the rice for free and I was ok with that. Well I called in today and mentioned the rice from last time and I understood that she was going to include the rice in the order. My husband stops to pick it up the women at the register told him she was not going to give him the rice and he asked so you are not going to give us rice we paid for and were told it would be given to us.. she straight up said no…. That is so disrespectful and unprofessional. I understand mistakes happen and I can deal with that but for you to just act so unprofessional especially because it was YOUR mistake! I can deal with mistakes and you owning up but being disrespectful and rude I cannot.

The food is great but it definitely depends on what you get. If you like chicken chow mein, DONT. TRUST ME. But their wonton soup is sooo good. Like it's so good I almost called them just to say how good the soup is. Also my 3 year old loves their steamed dumplings. :)
